Had a lot of good times to this album. Its good time rock'n roll. Hendrix a clear influence. Never seemed to have gained much notoriety, but I'm greatful to the freind that got me into Burning Tree. Well worth a listen. I used to play "Mistreated Lover" to death.

Welcome into the world of Cream,Yardbirds,The doors...You'll find some hints of Dire Straits as well.Unfortunatelly the public didn't apreciate the effort and the ideea of this band.If you are tired of listening to the same Warrant,Poison choruses, give this one a chance.

Always thought this album was overrated, it had lots of good reviews when it came out, but most of the tracks I find quite nondescript. 'Burning Tree' and 'Fly On' are reasonable songs, but - and it's a biggie - 'Mistreated Lover' is one of the best songs I've ever heard! No exaggeration - what a song. Great tune, great lyrics, like Plisken Nor I played this one again and again and again when I had this on cassette. I'm desperate to get the song on MP3. Definitely an album worth having for one song, 'Mistreated Lover' is that good.
