There are some delightful moments on here, including a superb cover of Chris Rea's 'I Can Hear Your Heart Beat', and a rehash of the Poco standard 'Heart Of The Night', though this version is much more upbeat and happier sounding. As well, there is the fantastic AOR of 'From Across A Crowded Room' where Lukather lets fly on a dextrous closing guitar-solo befit any Toto album, and the very radio friendly pair of 'I Walk The River' and 'Tiger On The Lawn'. Recommended for Toto and Lukather fans.

Paul Cotton is mostly known as a Poco Member, This solo effort is more AOR oriented and less Country than the Poco era. "From Across a Crowded Room" Wow what a great AOR song my favorite track by far. "I Walk the River" and "Tiger on the Lawn" are enjoyable tracks as well. There are some nice tunes, Good AOR somehow 8/10

Pleasant album...AOR with no high claims really but good enough to satisfy the listeners surely ...my fave tracks are "I Can Hear Your Heartbeat"(cover originally of Chris Rea),"I Walk The River","Tiger On The Lawn","One Long Last Look"(nice female duet),"High Water" & "From Across A Crowded Room"(the best cut of the album IMO)...86/100
