If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Gorky Park CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Gorky Park are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The two previous releases are actually listenable, this one here is no darn good, I can't find a single song on this one that I would listen to regularly, the 1998 cd "Protivofazza" is even worse than this one, I have all four of their cd's and "Stare" and "Protivofazza" are not worth a penny, maybe I can find someone to trade them to, oh well! anyway , save your money for something you will actually listen to, if u like Russian Rock/Metal, try "Cherniy Kofe" their 1987 album "Perestupi Porog"! |

Ooops, sorry!! my page froze and several clicks too many!!! Here's a few more Russian Metal Bands I would recommend over Gorky Park, the bands are as follows-- "Cherniy Obelisk", "Legion", "Sektor Gaza"- (their 2000 release "Vostavshiy Iz Ada", and of course the outstanding band that has been around since the early 80's "Ariya" u have got to hear them to really understand the fact , they rock!!! msg board Proman1 if interested in cdr sampler of these Russian Bands... |

Hey Proman1!!! I live in Mexico City too and I would love to have these albums!! I have their first 2 albums and Moscow Calling is even better than the first one. Like 1 month ago, a friend of mine went to Russia and he didn't find the albums, but he found a recopilation album (or a Greatest hits album) from the band!!! And he brouht it for me!!! I'm interested!!! Let me know... |

I don't agree with Proman1. So what there is no one single-hit song, when this album is just sick! This is my favourite album when I'd like to listen G.P. in more alternative way. Of course this is not grunge album, and still rock. But musicians didn't care about hit on radio, but about THEIR NEEDS to play as they want. Respect! |

Third album and not so enthusiastic shamely ...heavily influenced by the "alternative sound" that was flooding the radio stations at that time and Gorky Park couldn't escape from falling into it...it has some "good moments" such as "Stare"(catchy),"Ego","Stop The World I Want To Get Off","Don't Make Me Stay" & "Ocean"(nice song)...get their self titled debut and "Moscow Calling" instead of this one and their 4th and last release "Protivofazza"(also in the same line as this "Stare" one)...78/100 |
