************************Provenientes de España, Uzzhuaia nos trae su primer álbum editado bajo el nombre de “Diablo Blvd.”,el cual se compone de 11 demoledoras canciones de puro Hard Rock cantadas en idioma español. Es increíble, que viviendo en Argentina no era muy fanático del Hard Rock cantado en español,pero ahora es como que le encontré el gusto a entender las letras.De todos modos, lo que más me llamó la atención mientras comento este CD es la combinación de voces que hacen en forma de dúo |

las cuales son una más aguda y la otra bien grave como en “Viaje Sin Fin”, algo que a mi me fascina, si alguno no conoce bastante a lo que me refiero, ese tipo de dúo vocal lo he escuchado en un cover de Poison “Cover of a Rolling Stone” y también lo recuerdo claramente en Sister Whiskey “Ain’t About Love”. Uzzhuaia tiene un sonido un poco más grave que el del típico Hard Rock de los ochentas, suena más a Skid Row en “Subhuman Race” y en el tema “El Final” suenan un poco a Alice In Chains, |

también por momentos saben como utilizar ciertos clichés ochentenos como un buen slide de guitarra al comienzo de “Yo Era Yo”. La verdad es que Uzzhuaia suena bien contundente, y en español, cosa que hoy en día no es muy común, ya que los músicos actualmente buscan directamente el mercado anglo y cantan normalmente en inglés. Yes, this is together with LEYENDA the best spanish Hardrock Band. Powerfull songs, great guitars! I like the spanish vocals although I speak no spanish. The third great Hardrockband with spanish vocals hails from Buenos Aires, argentina. These young guys are DELIRIO and their 2007 demo is the near the level of the bands named above. |
