A mixed affair, this one. Some nice songs, but also a lot of weaker tracks make this one not essential. |

Easy for you to say, Freddy, since you're all the way in f'n Belgium and know absolutely NOTHING about these guys, but I bet if they were from YOUR hometown you'd be raving about them! I first saw them open for Slaughter at a club show back in '97; Larry gave me their disc after the show and I listened to it non-stop for weeks afterward. A few acoustic tracks here (Hannah, Borderline), and the rest just rock. Ignore Freddy and check this out if you can find it. |

Dear Christine, indeed, I don't know a damn thing about these boys. I only have their record and as sais before, there are a few good, decent songs, but the rest is rather rubbish ! It's possibbe that these guys are real great people, but it's about the MUSIC here, not about how friendly a band or an artist is. And the music leaves a lot to desire. |

Yes, Freddy, it IS about the music. And I happen to like it. I don't think I mentioned anything about their personalities, did I? Or did I not misspell enough words for you to comprehend that? You're obviously entitled to your pompous opinion, but so am I, and so is everyone else on this site. God forbid we DISAGREE with you... after all, you know SO much more than we do. Personally, Pride of Lions bores me to fucking tears, but that's just MY opinion. |

Dear Christine, with all respect : POL is not my all-time fave band, like most seem to think here. My all time faves are Legs Diamond, Styx, Foreigner, Y&T, Roadmaster, Night Ranger etc. etc. My only point was and still is : POL is the best album of 2003 ! And again, with all respect : to compare Hear Here with POL is like compare like a river with the ocean. There is so much difference in class between these two acts, dear Christine. A genius like Peterik is not in Hear Here. Sorry ! |

Freaky,do you go out of your way to be so condescending? Christine has expressed an opinion on this album that you dont agree with, why does it upset you so much that you have to tell her she is wrong? Neither of you is wrong & neither of you is right, opinions will always differ but no way is hers any less important than yours! If this album moves her, more power to her! |

Thanks CC! I guess now it's just a case of "let the listener decide for themselves." |

Pretty damn good album, especially for 1997. I'll take it & rock with it. |
