I like her first CD more than her second. I think the reason for that is none of these songs are very bad. All of them are listenable. Pink Noise had some bad filler in it. Highlightes here are the opening track, Survival In The Streets, Run For Your Love and Hideaway. Believe In Me is also worth repeated listens. Fans of Show-Ya drive the price of this one through the roof, so if you're looking to get $100 worth of music here, you won't. It's a collectors item more than anything else. |

Like I said about her other release, it is good pop rock, but please people, take my advice and don't fork out the big dollars. It is really not that good. Just nice melodic pop rock with a few cool songs here and there. |

Hi 'crazy' jakki ! I don't know where to get this one, but I guess you should try singers like LISA NEMZO & SHARON O'NEILL as well (if you don't know them already) |

Mis favoritas: "Hideaway" "Change of Heart" con un solo tremendo, "Hot Night In The City" y "Get Out Of My Heart". Bueno. 8/10 |

This is one of my all time favourite albums. With the exception of "Believe In Me" (way too poppy), this is some of the best AOR i've ever heard. I also love the way that the album isn't full of vocals; there is also a lot of jamming on here, especially on "Run For Your Love". The title track is simply awesome: memorable riff, great soloing and Steffanie's voice was never better...It never fails to fire me up. Throw in "Get Out Of My Heart", "Change Of Heart" and "Hot Night In The City" and you have one of the most underrated albums you'll ever likely hear. Also there are a couple of tracks that were recorded for Japanese Anime shows: Born To Be Free" and the awesome "Rock The Planet (For Everyone)". I still feel like i'm underrating it by giving it 95/100, but I gotta be truthful. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn close! |

Wowww!!!..very pleasant album of this japanese girl, yeah this is melodic hard rock with its dosage of AOR too ..."Survival In The Streets" is a very good rocking starter,"Hideaway" is a highlight one,"Change Of Heart" with its AORish feel, makes the song really enjoyable and with that crunchy guitar part at the end of the track i tell you!,"Believe In Me" is the "hit" of the album, lovely track with a live catchy chorus,"Get Out Of My Heart" is another goodie one & "Rock The Planet(For Everyone)" ends the album excellently...good effort Steffanie!.88/100 |
