Excellent compilation of old and new tracks, some given the Denander treatment, giving them that extra edge the original versions lacked.Westcoast AOR is the name of the game here, so if that isn't your cup of tea, then give this a wide berth. If it is your thang, then there is plenty here to get excited about, especially the TD tracks like 'Desperate Dreams'. |

An excellent A.O.R./Westcoast album given the Denander stamp of authority,as previously written. How much can I say without being taken out of bloody context or being accused of being vitriolic.... |

Westcoast fans will shoot me for this, but I've never liked this artist one bit. Don't get me wrong,I love my Chicago, King of Hearts, LA Cowboys, Tim Feehan, Planet 3, Player, Think Out Loud, Airplay, Keven Jordan, David Foster, Jay Graydon, Joseph Williams, Toto, Marc Jordan, Mr.Mister, Bridge 2 Far, David Roberts, Parber & Kerstein, Glass Tiger, Radioactive etc as much as the next man, but this just washes over me and is immediately fogotten. It just lacks bigger hooks in the songs IMO. 5/10. |

Reflection. Y L.A. Dreaming, que aquí no está puesto, sólo por "Malibu escapade" merece la pena: auténtico temazo. "Nothing but the best": 8,75/10 |

AOR have been one of my best recent finds. This is a very good compilation - and as Jez says above, the tracks which have been Tommified give an extra edge to songs that were already pretty good. Is there a project anywhere in AOR-land that Tommy Denander isn't involved with?! |

I recently bought this thinking it would rock but in my opinion it did not rock. This is something I would expect to hear in a hotel lobby and for it be labeled AOR (genre that is, not the name of the group/band/artist) is misleading because this is NOT music of the AOR genre. It was too pop/jazz/soul sounding. I'm not impressed. I'm a little surprised that Denander has worked with this guy on such lite whimsical tracks. I suppose I'll put my copy on ebay or amazon for sale, I read some of the reviews for this particular AOR release and I read some reviews for AOR's prior and subsequent albums and a few comments read "you'll either love AOR or hate AOR"! I guess I'm one of the odd ones out because I really do not love what I'm hearing. Sorry, not my cup of tea. |
