It's that time of the year again: The annual donation drive to cover the site expenses for the year. It will run through October 31, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.
Thank you for supporting Heavy Harmonies!

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular AOR CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from AOR are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Again, there was 1 or maybe even 2 tracks I liked off this, but generally I thought it was garbage. Like a broken record, for me it's the song writing that completely ruins this for me. The comparisons between this and the melodic rock that I enjoy are so far removed it makes me frown... like this:

In a rather sadistic way, I quite like this. Sure it's light and fluffy and verging on George Benson's sound at times, but it does rather evoke a feeling of (how I imagine) California. It could just as easily be the soundtrack to Miami Vice. It's got to be worth a listen if you like syrupy WestCoast stuff or your intending to host an Eighties themed dinner party. 5/10 for effort.

A mixed bag of Westcoast AOR tunes, mostly on the softer Jazz influenced style, but also some classic styled ballads. Some of the tracks are good (but not classics) and others are mediocre or a bit too cheesy (specially in the lyrical content. The drums sound like a MIDI most of the time and the best vocals are the ones by John Fluker. Rating: 7/10. Favorite Track: Never Gonna Let Her Go.
