Atticus Fault is the thinking man's rock band. Intense, melodic and not a song about high school in sight,it's clear that they won't be to everyone's tastes;the opener,'Soundtrack' is testament to that. The quartet may display a real lyrical and musical depth but vocalist Todd Evans has a commercial-sounding voice, and songs like the memorable 'My First Trip to Mars',the powerful standout 'Silver Stars' and the lush, sonic tapestry of 'Little People' make for an engaging, interesting listen.

Simply a beautiful and timeless album. Strong songwriting. Excellent musicianship. Amazing TASTE in arrangements. Hooks to die for. They can cover such divers influences as Pink Floyd, U2 and Coldplay. If you find it, purchase it. Impossible to regret it unless you only listen to Motorhead or Poison...

Atticus Fault's lyrics have touched my soul and have found a permant place in my heart. 1000 Years would have to be my favourite of all of their songs. However, I am unable to find the lyrics for this song on the internet. If n e one knows how I could reach them could you please leave the link in one of your comments. It would be much appreciated. Thank you

Es un grupo que tiene un buen ritmo en todas sus canciones y no solo eso sino que tienen un buen talento, y una buena voz el vocalista es mi grupo preferido ok.

I can't find the lyrics for 1000 years...anywhere.

Very interesting album this one. Don't think it will be everyone's cup of tea. It has really grown on me over the last year or so. Hard to describe their style, but they are like a progressive modern rock band. Hints of U2 are their and the amazing last song Once Around The Sun is even like BBMAK. If you are after a different take on modern rock, check this cd out! 7/10...

Well, it's not conventional AOR for sure. Interesting songwriting, progressive hooks, some noise in the back. Seems there are indie influences here... Maybe a bit too modern?

You know what..cheapskate that I am I was umming and ahhing over paying 99p for this! I think most of the comments above cover this. Parts of me remind me a little of Mars Electric's debut especially My First Trip to MARS strangely enough! Too Late is so catchy and 1000 Years pulls at the heartstrings somewhat. Luckily I picked up the earlier E.P. Bolara by chance and that contains another 5 (or is it 6 I'll check when I get home) great tracks! U can pick it up dirt cheap and it's worth it.

When I put "Parts of me" in the above review I really meant "Parts of it!!" hahahah I really should re-read what I write before I hit the button!!!!

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: March 2, 2008 at 22:30
I know it's Modern Melodic Rock/AOR for moments Alternative Rock but this album isn't bad.
