Just picked up this one and was plesently suprised. Great mix of heavy guitars and melodic song writing. A marked improvement on the 1st album which was just your standard euro hard rock piece.

oh boy!this ones a real grower.their debut was an album which i enjoyed very much but somehow lacked power and punch and this one has plenty of both..better still, the material is also a big improvement over the first album.in erik martensson eclipse have a great vocalist who at times reminds you so much of joey tempest that its ridiculous.excellent album = excellent buy.

Great album by a great band. I loved their debut but this one is superb!. A fantastic buy!

Wow! They really had a big task at hand if they were going to top a very fine debut... but they did it. This is heavier (Awesome sound!), but still just as melodic and high on big catchy hooks. I just love this disc to be honest. The first 6 tracks are all absolute killers, especially 'All I do', but once again this comes highly recommended. Essential melodic hard rock of recent years.

Súper-Recomendado. 8.99/10

Fantastic cd. Very melodic yet heavy enough to keep your interest. I like it more every time I hear it, which is a good thing. Hooks of the highest order along with big choruses. Can't wait for the next one.

More interesting than TTAALM 4 sure.. you can notice that the band is growing in here as musicians(composition is more solid here)and of course somehow with their third release they finally showed us their skills!.(hope album number 4 follows the essence of the third)..about this one,2 faves in a row "Always Standing" & "All I Do","Second To None" has a great drum beat,"Nothing Between Us" is a fave too,"Body And Soul" said is time to rock and "Better World" acoustically closes the album..this album was a warming up to what it was yet 2 come..89/100

very good 2nd effort for ECLIPSE ,keeping their songwriting in the high level of their debut but also adding a harder edge in some songs and the result isremarkable!"all i do","second to none","seasons of life" and "better world" are the highlights of Second To None and overall one of the best new acts
