receive this cd yesterday directly from japan.after several spins i can say that this young swedish band is full of promises.they reminds me heat(last record) and the poodles.great singer great production great songs but...this band is absoluty not mature.too much agressive, too much speed ,too much metal.sometimes the singer forget to sing ,he scream.the backing vocals "ho ho ho ho" are very simple and very limited.we are far away from def leppard or grand design.the guitar s solo are short and not melodic, the drummer is very exicted.they can make better cause we guess that they have some possibilities.for making good hard rock it s not an obligation to howl like a wolf and knock like a savage on your drums.calm guys calm.the best example is the japan bonus track.it s an acoustic version of track 3 "the storm".this song is beautiful with an exceptional melodic vibe, but they ruins the song cause they plays it too speed.they have a real hit in their hands but they do a big shit. |

Just picked this up. Not quite as good as "Bleed and Scream," IMO but still a solid album. Guessing it will (should) be on HH's best of for 2015 list. One thing is for sure, Eric Martensson is one busy dude! |

I definitely agree that it's not as good as Bleed & Scream. Still a good album but it kind of trails off towards the end, whereas B&S didn't have any weak songs to my ears. I really like the first 5 tracks and "Love Bites" though; all very punchy with great choruses! |
