Jeez, this was a bit of a surprise. Not an amazing album, but a very good effort from Helix. The first four songs and 'Make 'Em Dance' are especially good. Check out the opening riff on 'The Animal Inside (Won't Be Denied)'! If you were a fan of Helix in the past, I recommend giving this one a go. |

Another good album from Helix. Some good riffs and it's good to see the classic 80's line up of Helix is back together with the exception of Paul Hackman (RIP). These guys never got the recognition that they deserved and they are still making good music. |

Paul Hackman was an important song writer in Helix during their peak, from 1983-87, that produced some real classic Helix albums. So I was very surprised when I first heard this album from 2009 - it's very very good! I like all songs, no fillers, the classic line-up really shines on this album and the sound quality is impressive, I really like it and it has the best drum sound Greg has ever had, love this short little disc. Without a doubt their best since the 80s heyday. Feel good rock n roll! |

You can file this one along with Black 'n Blue's "Ultimate Collection" or Coney Hatch's "Best Of Three." All were bands that were moderately successful circa 1984, but had only a short time of popularity, some cool tunes, but lots of filler. As with the other compilations I named, "Over 60 Minutes" is all the Helix the average bear needs. |

The classic line-up made a truly fantastic comeback with this killer disc in 2009, 9 winners! Great sound and the best quality songs since the Helix of 80s brilliance! Don't miss this one, it will surprise you |
