Too bad they never got signed to national deal. This disc has some great songs including the best Power Ballad ever, 'Bring Back Yesterday'. Live, this band was head and shoulders above all bands energy wise. Too bad they never got professional managemnt to help their stage sound and equipment.

One word - A masterpiece !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the best indies out there in my opinion. And not that expensive either. A solid release.

If you like Heaven's Wish you should check out Exit 1 featuring Heaven's Wish drummer Jamie Darnell. Go to www.exit1theband.com. I think these guys rock.

Here's another of those forgotten bands with a sensational disc floating out there somewhere. 'On the rocks', 'Bring back yesterday' and 'Just a dream' are as good as melodic hard rock ever gets. The vocals are outstanding, the musicianship flawless and the approach is immaculate. It's so odd that there are bands like this and Zero out there with the ability to write amazing songs with A-class musicianship and not get noticed. Damn ugly shame is what it is. Great production too.

I just caught and EXIT 1 show featuring Jamie from Heaven's Wish. I have to tell you these guys rocks. They've got to be the hottest band in Detroit right now. If you like great rock and roll this is the band to see. Heaven's Wish may be a band of the past but it's great to see that Jamie Darnell is still playing with awesome musicians. Give them a test run. They have three full version songs on their website for free. www.exit1theband.com I love these guys!

SaraH,I've heard the Exit 1 Mp3 songs,I think they are ok if you like this fuckin'modern shit alternative new rock style.I don't know why members of old bands(Heaven's Wish in this case, but I speak in general)can do shit music like that.I'll never buy new cd's of old reunion bands or with old members because it's all modern and totally shit for me!There are new bands who play old melodick rock style and this is the only good thing, nothin'else.Heaven's Wish was great,Not Exit 1....

Z4roxx, The only problem with the Heaven's Wish stuff is that they recorded a style of music that was about three years out of style when they released it. They were a hair band during the grunge days of rock and roll. Don't get me wrong they're a great band but their music is a bit dated. I think that their ballad 'Bring Back Yesterday' is awesome. But I think that before you pass judgement on Exit 1 you should catch them live. Their style is a bit like 70's rock. I'd say, from what they do, th

Oh SaraH,we have different tastes, don't speak about this new kind of rock, for me is a pile of shit.I love bands as Heaven's Wish and all that it's in old style, not fuckin'boring modern style, sorry.

Z4roxx,Everybody has different opinions on styles of music. To each his own I guess. I myself never cared for hair bands even when that was all that was on the radio. You didn't have to be so vulgar about stating your opinion though. I wasn't trying to make you mad. I was just trying to pass some new music onto some music lovers. If you like it, it's cool. If you don't that's cool too. It's all rock music to me. Later

Hey!Ok for vulgar expression, excuse me.But you can 't say that it's all rock to you,Heaven's Wish is a thing,Exit1 is another thing.Sincerely I can't stand what some people ccan prefer Exit 1 than Heaven's Wish.I respect ok but it's not possible, sorry mate but I think that!Regards!

Not someone to just agree to most comments, (that's why I got damned the last time) but this one; indeed, is an exceptional album. Every discription that Geoff made about this CD is true and even more! With amazing musicianship and great songwriting plus late 80s/early 90s sophistication, there are very few albums that can get near to this. By the time you get to 'One More Reason', you'll think that this is one of the greatest you've ever heard.

Really a must for any melodic rock lover! This is another example of great hard rock/AOR, criminally underrated in the grunge era (1994 was a bad year for classic hard rock!): the songwriting is top notch, some songs are simply outstanding... If you love other "losers" of the '90s, like Zero and Emergency, you can't go wrong with this one: buy at any price! Suncity Records will release soon (?) two Cds with demos and unreleased material: I simply can't wait for them!

where can i find this cd?thanx for your answers.

From: 123charpenay Date: October 20, 2015 at 11:39
finally i ve find this raritie.i don t share the enthusiasm and the marvellous others comments.generally the retrospect records s realise are very very average and often very weak.here not! the sound is great ,the production excellent.musically it s very strong the guitarist deliver us some beautiful and fantastic solos.but this record have two problems.the songwriting is very average, the choruses will not hooked you,and the singer and the backing vocals are weak and sound amateur.it s regrettable cause i repeat their music is excellent.it s a shame that after some incredibles intros the songs are killed by a so poor singer , some so poor backing vocals and some so poor choruses .impossible to sing under my shower a song of this band.
