|Sammy was a little hit & miss on his first solo album after VH. over all it is still worth having. Sammy had to laugh when Van Halen finaly put out VH3 because his work was much better than VH gave us. I'd say that half the album is very solid.

|Hit and miss, mostly miss. As in, I miss the Red Rocker who can't drive 55, fights like hell, can't get loose and did it till he was black n' blue. Most of this is introspective, thought-provoking, non-party related rock for mature moments. Screw that... pour me another "Mas Tequila". Hell, make mine a double.

|Little White Lie and Marching to Mars are as close to the pre-Van Halen Sammy as this CD gets. Both Sides Now was a pretty big radio hit, but reeks too much of the navel-gazing ballads of later VH albums. Worth a couple bucks if you find it used, but don't kill yourself searching it out.

|Yeah Jimbo's got it right. Those two songs are good but not much else here to keep your interest.

|I totally disagree with all of you, I think Sammy has yet to better this one since he left VH. All of his post VH albums are solid albums, but this one shows the emotions and the work that went into the writing and recording of it. No one mentioned the Montrose reunion on "Leaving The Warmth Of The Womb."

|Sammy's guitar work and lyrics are phenomenal!!! And his voice is very solid... I love the atmosphere that this cd brings outarkness, hatred and moving on and facing reality. Great CD.. EXCELLENT!!!

|Always thought of this as a ruch job after the VH split. A couple of songs are short and sound unfinished to me. Not bad, fairly rocky. Who Has The Right is the stand out.

|I was pleased by this. I hated the fact that Sammy left Bill Church and the rest for Van Halen. Sammy had loads of talent, VH were extremely limited. They held Sammy back. Great comeback, Sam!

|This is a more consitent album than any of his previous efforts. I saw him on tour for this album and he put on a great live show. One of the few really good live shows out there. It would say better live than on the album as he is chock full of energy live. 80/100

|Good effort from Mr Hagar!!!...maybe some weak moments or dull ones here and there but in general lines a very nice effort..."Little White Lie" & "Would You Do It For Free?" are a couple of tracks,"Kama" is a nice ballad,"Both Sides Now" another nice shot,"Amnesty Is Granted" solid one & "Marching To Mars" which is by far the best song in here and obviously my favorite one...89/100
