If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Compilations CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Compilations are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

ok, lets study this for a second. all these compilations come in with low to mid ratings. i believe the reason is because their are so many with the same songs but we SHOULD NOT judge individual cd's on if another cd is very similar to it. We should judge the individual cd on it's own song selection and forgetting any other cd's like it. This cd has great songs on it. Great Artist on it so to me this cd on its own I give an 8.5 /10.

Even ignoring the fact that these are the same songs, for the most part, that pop up on all these compilations, like James said,I'd still have to give it a middle rating. The Night Ranger, Bad English and especially Mr. Big songs nauseate me, but the inclusion of an excellent Scorpions tune and a bit of a rarity in the Kingdom Come song (for this type of CD anyway) somewhat redeem it. Woudlnt buy it myself as I have all the good ones on it though.

These discs are intended for impulse shoppers who remember liking some of these songs back in the day. It's an easy buck for the record companies to make. They just offer some of the better known songs because they know people will buy them. It would be cool if someone actually put together a collection of some of the more obscure gems from the power ballad genre. Now that would be one I'd actually buy!
