| Honeymoon Suite's attempt to appeal to old fans while trying to be "modern" at the same time, ends up being faulty on both counts. Funnily enough, "Lemon Tongue" is a good name for this CD... what used to be suite has now gone pretty sour.

| Love this album (and all the old stuff aswell). Pissed off a few people but i think this is a great cd (with a stronger set of songs than the re-issued Dreamland disc). 'Lagavulin' and 'Into me Into You' r corkers'

| I'll second Jez. I loved Honeymoon Suite in the 80's, and I just bought this Lemon Tongue on a whim. I wasn't dissapointed. Of course it's not as good as The Big Prize, but that cd was a masterpiece in my humble opinion. If you like Honeymoon Suite, Lemon Tongue won't be a disappointment.

| Very mature release. Gone is the lushness of earlier releases such as "The Big Prize" and "Racing After Midnight". This is a more stripped down affair ripe with maturity and still has the Honeymoon Suite foundation of what made them great in the first place. If you're looking for a reincarnation of the 80's Honeymoon Suite, then look elsewhere. But if you want a more modern Honeymoon Suite, then this is for you. An excellent move toward the present not a rehash of the past. Highly recommended!!

| Sincerely I can't understand who puts those ridicoulus rate on cds',6.79 it's painful.As the above comments this is one of the finest(and unfortunately rarest)come back like also the last House of Lords cd.Immense band can make only intense and great songs,that's the case of Honeymoon Suite also in this one.Highly recommended work,glad to listen to that music....

| this is the comeback release of honeymoon suite after many important albums.it has amore modern sound but still has the melodic lines of their previous efforts.the result is not sogood.i mean that it has quality and some good songs but its a bit flat.no hooks,no soul in it,no honey.i must say though that its no bad,just doesnt do the job for me

| I guess I can be pointed out as being someone who usually raves great things about the CDs of which I post comments. "About Face!!" This one actually did "nothing" for me. Early Honeymoon Suite fit well into the 80's mold.....this release was an effort at listening, so it had to be an effort to record!!! I give it 2 out of 10.

More than "mature" i think HMS tried to be "updated" with the sound of that moment(2001)and completely put aside their real music direction that they were known from...a pleasant release?,quite true to be honest but if you are into the band's old stuff then avoid it..tracks 1,2,4(nice),7(nice),8(catchy rock),9(nice & catchy),10(Aorish,incredible to say this of a band that was into that in the 80's)& 11(nice softy)could be likeable ones if you are open minded IMO...75/100

| Indeed an awful cd, they completely left their roots here, most of the songs only have minimal structure and are not at all elaborated, the sound quality is very poor and the guitar sounds 'grungy'. Avoid!
