Thanks to MButt for the help on this, Razor White, and Bad Fashion. Who do these guys compare to?

To me, Lady Sabre is like an american version of Doro, just incredible female fronted metal!!!! one of my favs!!!!! also, thanks to Tim, for his efforts in making this site better!!!!!!!

I saw this band in the late 80's in south florida, and they sucked the big one! Their music was a good replacement for syrup of ipecac, and their guitar player was the biggest queer poser I ever saw in local music. He stunk on guitar, she stunk on vocals, and they stunk as a band. They shoulda called their band stunk! By the way, not since Blues Traveler have I seen a fatter singer than that gordita who sang with Lady Sabre. They were more of a comedy routine than a band, really.

There was couple of good guitar riffs on the album and some funky wierd leads. i saw these guys live in south fla and they were ok. The singer was a moo cow and the guitar player was a stick man trying to look cool. I give them credit for trying but they still sucked. The cd has a couple of songs i can stomach but some of it is crap. If i had to rate this CD/album on a 1 to 10 scale 10 being the best i would rate it at 3.5. If anyone remembers the term poser that was this band al the way.

This band put out a cassette first, so this was the second indy release. The first album, 'Under a Strange Spell' had better songs but 'Enchanted' sounds better. For a band to release their own CD back in 1989 was way cool. 15 years later, they did something very right to have such a following. Too much verb on some vocal tracks, other than that - not a bad indie melodic metal release. I give it a 7.5 (also, the flamer comments sound like schoolgirl stuff, guess they're jealous? 0.0 rating!)

I'm still trying to find a copy of the first album. Does anyone know if there are even any copies of this floating around? Nobody seems to have it. I think they're a pretty decent band, kinda like a heavier version of Barnabas.

Wow....here is a super rare and downright awesome female fronted hair metal indie that was released by this Florida band in 1989.What you get is a strong female lead vocalist in Sandra Thomas and some blistering guitars ala Chris Warren. This one smokes and instantly reminds me of LAOS, CARRIE and FEMME FATALE. Thomas' vocals are a mix of Lorraine Lewis meets Gudren Laos, so you know they are strong. I know not everyone is into female fronted bands, but this one is well worth checking out.

THIS IS A PRETTY GOOD JAMMIN OUT WITH SCORCHIN GUITARS WITH GREAT SINGIN CD. THEY SHOULD HAVE MADE IT BIG. ENOUGH TALENT HERE WASTED BY THE LACK OF THE PUBLIC RELEASE IN 1989. STRONG VOICE,TIGHT BAND,ASS KICKIN GUITARS.
