If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Cannon CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Cannon are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This was a tipical 80s euro heavy metal band that only released one album. This is a cool release for any ACCEPT, STORMWITCH, GRAVESTONE, VETO...fans. Nice, very nice release for real heavy metal fans.

Anyone know where I can find a copy of this? I'd love to hear it. everlovinblueyedthing@gawab.com

B.Grimm, I picked up a copy at http://www.impulsemusic.com Good double CD set! You can also learn more about the band at: http://www.cannon-the-band.com/en/index.htm

Whoops... this is the one I have. The double CD. As i said, fans of early Victory and good German hard rock will enjoy this. You can also pick it up at AOR Heaven. Good value, good discs.

I got this double CD after I heard the new one "back in business". It's amazing! Where were this guys the last 20 years? "Thunder and Lightning" is one of the best records I've ever heard!!!

Holy smoke! That "Thunder&Lightning" CD is amazing!!! I'd never thought they come from Germany. Sounds like an american band! Really good bamd and really double CD. The "Timeriders" demos are also very good. Why are they so fameless?

From: sarah-b Date: August 31, 2005 at 3:57
Wonderful package! The remastered "Thunder and Lightning" is so powerful! The "Timeriders" songs are also quiet good. I don't know were the guys recorded the demos, but they sound like real studiorecordings. Some of them sound better than actual productions.

Thank you, I'm glad there is a record company out there who believes in metal, and the power of metal to re-issue and to help bring back the sound that rocks! Hopefully young kids will love and listen to and emulate the great sounds of the 80s, so we can have more bands like these kick and blow us away on stage all over the world!

Great band, nice stuff! Cannon's "Time Riders","Thunder and Lightning" + several bonus tracks are included. Some tasty german metal-definitely worth checking out if you dig "Accept","Ratt and "Victory".
