Wow!!! This stuff is great -holy shit. This band rocks! Never heard before about them. I can't believe that these band is so unknown. If you like ACCEPT, DOKKEN or RATT buy this CD - you'll love it!

From: AOR freaky Date: July 26, 2005 at 14:48
Sorry for this band : but this is the kind or 'rock' that gives decent rock acts a bad name. Spoken of bad 'rock', this is the worst rock can offer. Dated and clichéd as hell. Avoid.

From: the game Date: July 26, 2005 at 19:18
Excellent come back cd from Hard Melodic Rock German band Cannon. If you like bands such as Dokken, Ratt, Accept, Pump,Gypsy Rose(Swedish Band)and Seven Wishes then pick this up. Maybe not as high quality as the History 2 cd set but a lot better than what is out there now.All the songs are have the killer guitars solos and party rock trademark. Don't listen to the dip-shit AOR freaky as he wouldn't know anything good if it bite him in the arse. I agree with Rockin-Jack...great stuff.Rated 9.5/10

From: AOR freaky Date: July 27, 2005 at 5:06
A new attack on me, don't know why ! Only because I write that this is very bad stuff. Well, dear 'the game', I'm polite and in good company. READ what ALL magazines and websites have to say about this release. Exactly the same as me : dated, clichéd and boring as hell. In other words, one of the worst releases of the year so far. If you like this, great for you. But don't write I don't know a thing about music. If so : all mags and websites are incompetent. But who's really incompetent ? !

From: Geoff Date: July 27, 2005 at 6:17
I haven't heard this CD, though I really enjoyed their first 2 CDs, so I'll buy this when I can. But AOR Freaky, I suggest that the reason The Game calls you a dipshit is because all you ever do is rave about 'dated and cliched' bands, and you hate anything even remotely modern or 'un-dated'!!! Therefore, the contradiction in your words is painfully obvious to any intelligent person and one can only cringe at your critisism. And WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT WHAT CRITICS SAY??!! That's why we're here

From: AOR freaky Date: July 27, 2005 at 16:43
Agreed Geoff : we must judge for ourselves. But hell : if practically everyone says this is bad, it's bad, mate. Listen and judge for yourself. And you comment on my taste : you're right, I hate practically everything modern, but what has that to do with the fact I don't like this record. If I say it's dated and clichéd, I mean it's bad, just plain bad. If a record is done well, with a 'dated' sound, I'll like it. For me, Presto Ballet is record of the year far. 'Dated' sound, but CLASS !!!

What is this - AOR feaky??? Just got the CD. This is great hardrock. If you don't like this kind of music, fuck-don't listen to it. the game and geoff are both right! This band rocks! Great comeback, hope they'll record another album next year. Did you see theit website "www.cannon-the-band.com"? Also a great site.

From: deanM Date: August 11, 2005 at 4:08
I was really surprised that this band has a brandnew CD. And there was a second surprise: the album sounds great! After 17 years such a comeback - great! It's incredible that there is a band in this days which compose and record this kind of music so great. The music comes directly from their heart. Dated? No - I'd say they sound timeless. I red the comments from AOR freaky above. Guy, what did you smoke? Did you hear the same stuff as I did? Rated 10/10

From: AOR freaky Date: August 11, 2005 at 4:17
OH DEAR ? ! Great you like this one, Gene hard and deanM, but I DON'T !!! For once I have to agree with ALL websites, magazines and reviewers : this is a CRAP release ! Sorry ! Third rate stuff at best, and yes, me and all those others (please, look at the sites, read the mags etc. !) consider this as amateurish ! If you want to hear good hardrock, listen to the new Iommi, Starbreaker, Masterplan, Liesegang/White etc., all released this year and far superior to this one !

From: deanM Date: August 12, 2005 at 0:54
AOR freaky-as the name suggests... You really read and believe what commercial mags and reviewers write? OK! Than you have to say (and not to ignore) that there are also fantastic reviews on many webzines and mags. Look at the bands website for the sources. If this CD is amateurish than with very high standard! Many of the high acclaimed prof-bands brought out rubbish over the last 15 years. By the way many of the stuff you named are one time projects - don't compare them with a real band.

From: AOR freaky Date: August 12, 2005 at 4:02
Dear deanM, yes, I'm an AOR and pomp freak, but I really LOVE good hardrock too ! In fact, two of my all fave acts are pure hardrock acts : Y&T and Legs Diamond. It's fine that you like this record, I don't. That's what life makes great, those differences. Enjoy this record, I'll listen to other and IMO far better stuff ! You are right : the names I gave are projects, but damn fine ones and if the result is that good, I really want more of that ! All the best !

From: sarah-b Date: August 31, 2005 at 3:52
Great discussion!!! Anyway, I love these guys. that is the music I want to here. There are only a few bands left which are able to write and record music in such a style. Everybody who loves 80ies hardrock - listen to this CD!
