Ric Jacobs is not the vocalist on this one. It's KEVIN CHALFANT, freshly de-planed from 707. Style-wise, more of the 707 "Mega Force" Survivor-esque AOR, which makes this the best of the 4 Steel Breeze releases. |

Yes, this is a really good AOR album, if you like the early 80's sound."Heart On The Line" and "Easy Way Out" is the definition of how AOR should be played...MEGA AOR!! For fans of "The Storm","Icebreaker" and "Survivor" |
From: Ardian | Date: March 20, 2004 at 2:55 |
It's Kevin Chalfant on vox... so it has to be good! |

Koogles - What were the other 2 releases by this band ? |
From: oliver | Date: August 19, 2005 at 16:40 |
sorry boys. completely overrated. to compare this one with icebreaker is totally crazy. this is a bit better than average aor. sounding very dated. check out bands like le roux with the same release date. million miles away from that. not worth buying, only for die hard collectors. 6,5/10 |

Muy Buen AOR con Kevin Chalfant en las voces, nada mal, no un clįsico de hecho, teclas bien puestas aunque su sonido no es de primera linea. "Try A Little Harder" "I'm Here" "Survivor" "Heart On The Line" "Easy Way Out" y "I Remember" las mejores en ese orden. Muy bueno y Recomendado. 8.5/10 |

I've just gotten the AOR Heaven reissue of this second SB album,to be honest, under some expectativeness as i'd read so many good reviews about it and well...is not as good as the band 1982's self titled debut(which i own on vynil)IMO but it ain't a bad one neither, just a bit less enthusiastic...best tracks for me are "Survivor"(with that Pomp feel),"Temptation Eyes" & "Try A Little Harder"...tracks 2 & 5 are also appealing ones...80/100 |
