GOOD CD 78/100 good musician ship !!!good production from HIPOCRISY/PAIN guy Peter TAGTGREN like the others album they try to mix different style SWEDISH MELODIC ROCK/HEAVY METAL/POWER POP sometimes it works sometimes not ! But very personnal and original music anyway ! For the open minded people out there who like intelligent songwriting !the JAP.edition had 2 more cover songs from exELECTRIC BOYS leader CONNY BLOOM's TITANIC TRUTH and GARY MOORE/OZZY"led clones" worth checking ! |

One of this year's best releases! Awesome heavy cross of Gotthard & Harem Scarem with choruses to die for. This rocks though - much harder than the fore mentioned bands. They have basically taken their sound from 'The Hellbum' and added loads of melody! One or two fillers but there at least 10 killer tracks here. Favs are 'Glass Jar', 'Dead & Gone' (awesome!) and 'Blind' which are all up there with the best songs of 07. Highly recommended! |

To me, this album is the perfect mix of heaviness from 'The Hellbum' mixed with the melodic nature and great song writing of 'Night in the gutter'. The guys have really gone all out in the chorus department, overloading this album with big melodic and catchy choruses. For me, 'Glass jar' is the best song on the album, but there are plenty more where that came from. Cool, unique lyrics too. These guys are a great band. |

This is by far the best record by these guys. "Glass Jar", "Born A Winner", "Blind"...the list of awesome songs is endless. I thought that their previous records was great, but this is a giant step forward. Somewhat heavier than your average melodic rock band, a heavy cross between Harem Scarem and Gotthard as Lennie wrote, I second that. Probably the best album I've heard this year so far... Highly recomended. |

Geoff is spot on with the fact they write unique lyrics. This cd actually had me reading the lyrics for singing purposes. Great release all the way around, from the writing to the playing. A little bit of a modern edge that I typically don't care for but this one REALLY works. Totally melodic and totally great. End of story. BTW: "My Own Sin" sounds just like what a friend of mine says all the time! Ready to trade for something better.....or is it? |
