This is pretty similar to the last albums these two guys released as solo artists. Two of the greatest hard rock vocalists on one album and really good, classic sounding songs make this essential if you like either or both these guys.

Great, great classic hardrock album. Recommended, two great voices bring us great songs !

From: MADMAX Date: March 19, 2004 at 13:51
Whole album is great, but Devil's Road is just a KILLER!!

From: Lynchomaniac Date: March 22, 2004 at 18:49
This album is pure masterclass, a shame the follow up failed to succed this gem!

Classic. Classic. Classic. Yeh, I like it. Two top vocalists entwined ona cd with good songs and great playing. If you're on this site (and you can't deny it!) then you really ought to check this (or HTP2) out. Classic!

If you loonking for good singers, good ballads and miss the the eighties and rock arena scene, this is the record i recomend.Turner and Hughes brought us a lot of good stuff on this record, a lot of Rainbow vibe and some echoes from Coverdale/Hughes era.

An absolute killer C.D.!!!!!This has got some of the BEST Vocals Around...Not One Filler track!!!!!!!9/10!!!Great music kinda Purplish/ Rainbow vibe!!!J.J. Marsh stands up there with messers Gilbert/Sykes. Really took me by Suprise..Should have been HUGE.

Dig it. Definitely agree with the "Rainbow vibe" comments. If you're a fan of their voices, or old school hard rock, you'll be a fan of this. I like it enough that I'm going to get the follow up.

Brilliant debut album by these 2 "monsters" of Rock...a project that shamely lasted for 2 official releases and a live one(all of them really worth)..."Devil's Road" & "You Can't Stop Rock'N'Roll" are both killer tracks followed by these beauties named "Mystery Of the Heart","Better Man","Heaven's Missing An Angel","Ride The Storm" & "Run Run Run"...highly recommended...90/100
