The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Glass Moon CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Glass Moon are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The Glass Moon musical style is embedded deeply into the classic pop/AOR crossover category, made popular by the likes Of Huey Lewis And The News and Novo Combo. they certainly appeal to that side of the audience, with more than a few nods in the direction of radio oriented pop artists of that era. On some tracks, a bit of the English style pop from the 70's shines through. |

This is a great pomp/aor record! There are some really good tracks here...like "Simon","On A Carousel" witch both are pomp heaven with dut-dut keys!Track 4 and 5 are good straight aor and track 3 is an super pomp ballad, with really nice keys! Really can recommend this to all lovers of early 80ies AOR like "Shelter", "Dakota","Alliance". |

I bought the reissue album that was released in 2004 by Discs Online LLC/Renaissance which contains the album debut(S/T) and this "Growing In The Dark" on 1CD. With respect to the second album: Good start with "Simon"(at first reminded me of Pat Benatar with her "Hit Me With Your Best Shot") good solo ála Thin Lizzy and one of my fav songs here, "She´s On" "Take My Heart" "She Was Magic" and "Baja" are my faves too. Nice and friendly AOR with good keyboards and pomp touches. Good purchase. 8.5/10 |
