What a little gem this is! Coming across very much like Stryper (without the bible bashing lyrics), in fact Martin Berkley sounds very much like Michael Sweet. This is a hard rocking but very catchy CD featuring Tony Mills from Shy on backing vocals. If you like guitar heavy, uptempo melodic hard rock you should give this a try. Quite a punchy production as well, guitars and bass well up in the mix and a driving drum sound. Sadly they never did a follow up. |

This is an excellent hard rock cd along the lines of early SKID ROW.The guitar work is excellent and I really dig those solos. All tracks are listenable and there are no fillers here in my opinion. The ballad one way is where the vocalist comes close to sounding like SEBASTIAN BACH.Nothing lasts forever and can't stop are also top tracks. These guys know how to make good songs and it is a shame they never got the recognition they deserved. |

HUGE CD 90/100 /totally agree with PAUL RYAN comments above ! The STRYPER/MICHAEL SWEET inluences are obvious / You can find drummer PETE NEWDECK on the recent EDEN'S CURSE cd which is good too !and soon with the GREAT STEVE GRIMMETT BAND buy it |

I really like this disc, production isnt as overly done as you might think being a Mills effort and all, it's kind of just a good hard rock disc, my fav song is the opener. |

pretty good release by THE SHOCK ,but not as good as stated in the previous comments!guitar driven, energetic music with fine musicianship, great vocals(Michael Sweet comparisons are accurate) ,but the songs arent catchy as stated and dont have the expected hooks!a nice little indie though that i quite enjoyed |
