If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular XYZ CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from XYZ are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

If you like XYZ (or even good melodic hard rock in general) you must own this. The first song is an awful filler - shitty choice to start off with, then you got a few demos of songs we know, but 'High life' is great - what a riff, and 'You've got me wrong is also very good. But it's not until track 8 when all the 'new' ones kick in, the one's we don't know - that's when it all starts. 'Made for love' is superb, but I love all the tracks on display. Awesome band, great CD. Highly recommended!

You read DEMOS and you wonder will this be ok, decent, good or bad. Demos scare some folks and I have heard some groups demos that did scare me! This one is great! I agree with the above comment that this is a must own. I own it and believe me it will make a great addition to your collection. Get it as soon as you can. You won't regret it!

Great band! Plenty of goodies on here. The bonus trax for the 'Debut' and 'Hungry' are included (they were only previously available on the pricey jap imports).Superb !

This is the best XYZ album. Souvenirs (the version here) is one of my favs songs ever!!! I donīt understand why they edit the song for the XYZ st album. A really shame...

Finally got this one just to say that i own the complete collection of XYZ (without the "best of" still but that does not count as a priority to me now)...the best shots for me have to be the ones with that AOR flavour("Made For Love","It Could Be You","Lonely Without You" in its both versions & "High Life")...recommeded album of this semi legendary Hard Rock band...88/100

what an excellent idea to reissue these demos from this exceptional french/american hard rock band.there is two kind of demos, some from the very first line up and some with the definitive line up.all demos have an excellent sound and it s very interesting to discover the demos of the first line up cause in this time there was some keyboards in the x y z music!!!it s sound a little hard f m it s amazing an excellent. for example the beautiful first version of "souvenir"(memory in english) with keyboards.terry illous and his friends are some very talented guys.they plays a super class melodic hard rock.if you are fans of x y z (i hope)this record is a priority.you can buy closed eyes ,impossible to be disapointed.
