The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Strip Adicktion CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. This CD isn't in my collection for two reasons, rarity being neither of them. First off, the production is thin. If their production budget was any indication of their financial well-being at the time, Strip Adicktion were cutting coupons & using bus tokens. Secondly, the rhythm guitarist sounds like he wants to be HEAVY while the rest of the band wants to party. Imagine Skid Row or Surface Tension with Kirk Hammett. In this CD's defense, there are some decent hooks afoot i.e. Wind Cries Softly.

Koogles- your description of this album makes me want to get it. Since new Metallica sucks so bad, Kirk jamming with Skid Row would probably sound pretty damn cool. I take it this one is pretty hard to find? I've never heard of it.

You can hear some samples of these guys at: http://www.angelfire.com/band2/stripadicktion/downloads.html

Thanks Whiplash for the info- after checking out the samples i can say this is NOT one to seek out. I don't know about the whole disc but on the samples they sound like a bad version of Every Mothers Nightmare- it seems like they had promise but should have practiced a little more before recording. The singer seems to have a hard time staying in key. No offence to the guys in the band, at least they gave it a stab.

I would have to disagree with everyone who says this album sucks. Yes, they do have a raw sound, to me they sound like Megadeth crossed with Jackyl if you can imagine that. The songs Wind Cries Softly, If, Folsum Prison are great (great banjo intro believe it or not on Folsum Prison). If anyone is looking into trying to find this CD I would recommend over a lot of other rare CDs, but that't just my taste.

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of the newer Strip Adicktion CD? I heard 2 songs on shoutcast about 2 years ago and I have been looking for it ever since. I own the in, out & Gone CD and I believe the new one ( Bald Monkey...i think) although not much better in the production area, (I did only hear it on streaming internet radio though) is WAY more rockin! The songs I heard "online" thats the song title and the other one "skeletons" were alot more alt-metel-punk. thx

I agree with dean, the description that koogles gave makes me want to jump all over this cd! Thank god for the 80s.

Another favorite of mine. Wind Cries softly is awesome along with the rest of the album.....I spent a little too much for mine, but it was one of those occasions where you got tired of looking for it. This is in my top fifty of my favorite albums. Thanks to Studboy, I am glad I listened to this. 10/10

This album isnīt really bad at all, cool tracks, "Death Between Her Legs" is a good opener with Heavy Riffs but my favorite tracks are the Melodic Rock ballad "If", "One Wrong Word"(Strong Choruses! Great song!) and the ballad "One Step Away". oh yeah, Raw sound/Thin production but the music is quite good. Sharp Guitars/Heavy Riffs.. Very cool! Hey Sam, this Indie band could be added to the Retrospect Stuff indeed. 8/10
