I remember finding this on cassette in a thrift store. I only paid like a quarter for it but now that I have it...it's priceless!!!! Doro Pesch is the queen or heavy metal!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will be back on tour again this summer in the US. |

This is one kick ass metal release! I had the honor of seeing this band live, back in 1986 in Cleveland, when they opened for Megadeath. Man, was I floored by sound of that awesome voice, that is Doro Pesch. Not only is she one best metal vocalists in the world, she's also a total knockout! If you have not experienced Warlock yet, you are really missing out. I highly recommend this disc......it is worth every red cent! |

there may be argument or some doubts about whether if lita ford, poison or some other hair bands is metal, but warlock is not one of them. I can seriously tell you that this is pure heavy metal, my friend. sure,u may ask what is a ballad(love song) doing in a metal album but the other 9 songs are monstrous metal. Grab yourself a piece of this album if you like german heavy metal. Accept,scorpion..who are they? |
From: Uusiolli | Date: August 5, 2004 at 20:02 |
Am I the only who don't like this album. It's not as heavy as I thought i would be, after reading articles from the band, and after looking the record sleeve. 6/10 |
From: jack | Date: August 19, 2004 at 5:04 |
Uusiolli-What do you mean by not heavy enough?how heavy do you want them? As heavy as morbid angel or slayer or judas priest or ac/dc or motley crue or dokken or warrant etc. In my estimation, this album is as heavy as wasp's debut album or motley crue's shout at the devil album though this one is not as good as those two. Maybe its the female voice that makes the song seems less heavier! |

A kickass album and I'd wouldn't mind giving her one either. Saw Doro live in Belfast Ulster hall years back, loved em live too. I only wish there were more women like this in the world. Unless your really into Germanic metal (like I am) Triumph and Agony is probably the other most accessable album. |

Good album by the 'Queen' of metal!!!. |
From: rick kerch vzla | Date: April 3, 2011 at 17:57 |
Being more specific about this album, well it is a killer one actually!!!!...this one was the preview for the following "Triumph & Agony" anthem release but honestly this one kind of sweep that one away!!!..."Vorwarts,All Right","True As Steel","Lady In A Rock 'N' Roll Hell","Love Song",Igloo On The Moon" & "T.O.L." are top notch songs but to be honest this whole release rocks like hell!!!..Doro Pesch is undoubtebly the real Queen Of Metal!!!.92/100 |

Warlock is not a band that was on my musical radar so was not overly familiar with them when a friend loaned this to me the other day. It takes some getting used to, but I like it. |
