This album is pretty good, you'll like it if you like Doro's voice, All we are is a good sing along song and I rule the ruins is pretty good too, nice guitars and Doro's great voice, nice album!!

From: SIXXSWINE Date: August 27, 2001 at 15:25
Let's be honest here, this is the best of their three records(studio). I still don't like Doro'd voice. The accent is too thick, the lyrics are cheese, the band is fair at best. Save your dough & buy her S/T DORO cd, which by far is the best thing she has ever done. All I can remember is the 'All We Are' video with the tight leather pants & the cheesy chorus. SWINE Scale?-3.0 for 'some' effort.....

From: Don Date: August 31, 2001 at 8:11
Have to disagree with SIXXSWINE. I agree that this is the best Warlock album, but the S/T Doro CD doesn't measure up to it. The S/T Doro CD was Gene Simmons' poor attempt at turning Doro into the German Lita Ford. It's a sorry affair compared to Warlock, as well as compared to Doro's Force Majeure record.

From: Steve T Date: March 1, 2002 at 11:51
Hellbound was their best album....after that is was all Doro and the backing band. Great potential but it was killed off by her cult of personality.

From: Date: March 26, 2002 at 4:44
FUCK YOU ALL DORO RULES !!! IF YOU DON`T LIKE GO TO HELL DORO WE LOVE YOU !!!

From: Andre Date: May 21, 2002 at 9:17
THIS IS A METALHEAD'S RECORD ONLY,IF YOU ARE INTO BACKSTREETSHIT FUCK OFF!!!Now gently speaking,I gess this is the most polished record of them all,but sill METALL.Precise and incisive guitars .Good sounding drums.Doro's accent is so sexy,it's a trademark.Unique melodies, but at the same time so simple.Anthems larger than life.this is the most sophisticaded,at the same time simple, hot metal I ever heard.Clean hard driving true german metal.Grundge Nu-metal,Hip-Crap,BURRNN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!

From: SEBSFOX Date: September 5, 2002 at 13:45
A true metal gem. First Warlock/Doro album I heard and loved it. Doro's voice is awsome. It's like a female version of the one and only Sebastion Bach.

From: Jason Date: May 3, 2003 at 21:05
Warlock's final release and in my opinion their best one. This cd rocks and you never get tired of the songs on it. Crank this one way up! Doro Pesch still has it in her after all these years singing solo. Still my favorite female vocalist!!!!!!

From: steve Date: May 5, 2003 at 18:01
i agree with andre burn in hell to rap-crap my grandma could sing that shit, all we are is a awsome song and warlock is a awsome band

From: SPOTLIGHT Date: May 31, 2003 at 17:08
DORO'S FINEST HOUR. But, let's be real here, she hasn't made a bad album...period. Doro Pesch is the kind of musician Lita Ford only wishes she was. The one true female voice in heavy metal music. All hail DORO!!! Fur Immer!!!

From: ace Date: June 9, 2003 at 0:01
THE ULTIMATE ROCK BABE DORO. I HAD AND HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON HER,AND SHE IS A KILLER SINGER. THE BAND SIMPLY ROCKS ON THIS EFFORT, WHICH BROUGHT HER FAME. LOVE YA DORO.UP THE IRONS MATE.

From: Dean Date: October 25, 2003 at 0:22
I'll admit I'm completely baffled as to which bands are too heavy for this site. Warlock is/has been/ always will be METAL!! This album and True as Steel are both awesome. I personally love Doro's voice.

From: Fat Freddy Date: January 5, 2004 at 12:15
Imagine my surprise when I came across this CD in a Best Buy recently... I figured it was long out of print. Classic German 80s metal, Doro at her vocal best, killer anthemic songs. All we are... all we are, we are all, we are all... all we need! I'll take this over Doro's solo material any day. Still kicking myself over missing their US tour with Megadeth when they were promoting this album years ago...

Just wanted to thank you guys for turning me on to Warlock, I just bought 'Earthshaker Rock',the Warlock 'best of' collection (not shown here, for some reason)... it's KILLER! Worth the extra bucks to own a fine piece of metal history. Two thumbs up!

From: jack Date: June 22, 2004 at 5:11
Of all the german bands l've listen like scorpion, accept etc, my favourite would be warlock. Don't really know why but i love all thier songs. its pure metal, man.

From: Metal T Date: June 22, 2004 at 8:22
Hey jack--I think i know why you like 'Warlock'. Doro' maybe ? ----

From: jack Date: June 24, 2004 at 4:32
What do you mean Doro,Metal T? you think i like warlock because of Doro? Come on,man,i like the music, its pure heavy metal with all the melodic and hair ingredient in it. well,ok,u got me there!Doro is the number one factor actually. Man,she is even better than lita ford.

From: Scandinavia Date: July 19, 2004 at 7:21
All we are, all we are we are, we are all, all we need....Great track!

From: Uusiolli Date: August 5, 2004 at 20:08
After reading the comments on this one, I have to ask if there's different mixes on this one or True As Steel. For me this one sounds much heavier than TAS, and that's the way I like it. Suites better to their image. Video for All We Are were a big laugh though, but so were nearly all the videos back then. BIG POSING. East Meets West is the best one on this one. 8/10

Cheese metal at it's finest. All the cliches, the hot babe in leather, killer riffs, pounding rhythms. This shit brings back memories and still kicks ass!

From: Kip Date: September 4, 2004 at 1:57
I've always liked this one more than I should. Maybe it's because of my lust for Xena (Lucy Lawless) and how strikingly similer Pesch looks on the cover and inner book. Anyway, Warlock have a classic metal sound but aren't talented enough to make a consistant album. There's nothing spectacular here, but it does have some good songs. All We Are is one heck of an anthem, Metal Tengo is catchy, Make Time For Love is a very good ballad, and I love the intensity in Touch Of Evil. 6/10

From: Jonny_B Date: September 10, 2004 at 21:16
Commercially speaking, this was Warlock's best effort. Still my favorite, but I consider 'True As Steel' a close equal.

From: Date: December 12, 2004 at 20:25
warlock was great

From: billy Date: December 12, 2004 at 20:30
WARLOCK NEEDS TO REFORM FOR A NEW CD ASAP , I WANT A NEW WARLOCK CD , FUCK THE LAWYERS AND WHO OWN THE NAME, GET ALL THE FIRST MEMBERS AND DORO BACK TOGEATHER AND CALL THE CD : BACK FROM THE RUINS: I CAN JUST SEE IT NOW, WARLOCK, BACK FROM THE RUINS

From: onemorecast Date: March 8, 2005 at 23:43
what a great album cover, Doro was a hottie, hairy pits and all. Not really a great album though All We Are was the only truly good track.

From: Date: April 9, 2005 at 18:26
Classic metal band fronted by a woman who eclipsed what Lita Ford could never achieve. Doro's vocal range is amazing. She sings in English flawlessly without effort. The guiratist is equally skilled in his soloing and the rhythm section clicks on all bases. Produced in during the peak of the old metal sound, you think it would fall under all sorts of cliches, but that turns out to be not the case at all.

From: ghettonation73 Date: June 26, 2005 at 20:22
WOW, GREAT DISC, JUST PICKED IT UP ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF AGO, HAVE LISTENED TO IT 3 TIMES ALREADY, I'D LIKE TO GET THEIR FIRST 3 NOW MY FAVORITE 3 SONGS ARE 'ALL WE ARE,' 'I RULE THE RUINS,' AND 'TOUCH OF EVIL' BUT THE REST OF THE CD IS GREAT AS WELL!!!!

From: WookieEnthal Date: November 28, 2009 at 1:01
The more I listen to this the more I dislike Doro's vocals. Some singers can scream and sound good but she just sounds like some drunk chick at karoke night when she does it. 30/100

From: shoemaker Date: November 28, 2009 at 10:18
Yes, DOROs voice sucks!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 29, 2011 at 22:37
Warlock's best album according to the experts...good rocking songs backed with the unique and not common voice of the lovely Doro Pesch..."All We Are","I Rule The Ruins","Kiss Of Death","Make Time For Love","Cold Cold World" & "Fur Immer"...88/100

From: halfordhughes Date: May 15, 2011 at 4:21
