If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Pulse CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Pulse are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Another fairly workmanlike set of songs from Bob Catley's band, extremely well played and with some more great keys swirling all over the songs. If you're looking for another 80's sounding AOR release then you've found it, but there are better in the genre. Andrew McNeice mentioned the high-pitched ringing sound in the background if you turn the volume up, and that does spoil it at high volumes, but generally the sound isn't bad. Nothing overly exciting, but a solid release. 7/10.

TIM said it the best 'Nothing overly exciting, but a solid release' and that's that. Although it is better than their debut which I thought was good also.

From: MelodicMan Date: October 19, 2004 at 20:21
I disagree with GlenRavine, IMO their debut is better than Worlds Apart. Actually, I´m a little disappointed here, since I was expecting something very good. That " high-pitched ringing" is very annoying, and overall I think they failed to delivering a great album. Not a bad cd, of course, but far away from the best releases of the year.

Good attempt, and while it doesn't have the consistancy of the first album, there are some really standout tracks on this album such as 'Price Of Loving You'. A good album worth investing in.

From: Geoff Date: December 6, 2004 at 20:11
I actually think this is quite a bit better than the debut, which I also like quite a lot. The first track sounds like an FM song and 'Talk to my heart' is dreadful, but aside from that the actual song 'Worlds apart' is one of the best songs of the year, and the rest are all great melodic hard rockers. Very consistent CD, and even the last odd track is pretty cool. Too many good ones to pick from the rest, so just get it and hear yourself. Recommended!

well, not much to say except what is going on with the production??? I think the songs are great but can not hardly stand to listen to the production. What a shame cause the songs are just great, great vocals, guitars, keys, etc. Could of been a top ten for me except for production!!!

From: Dan Friml Date: March 21, 2005 at 6:26
an average music with absolutely horrible sound!

From: Scandinavia Date: March 21, 2005 at 15:23
Yes, it does get a bit boring in the long run, doesn't it?? I thought so at least...

From: juan carlos Date: March 26, 2007 at 20:38
La verdad que es un muy buen disco pero cierto es que la producción no es de las mejores y eso baja la puntuación al disco, voz aceptable. Un Rock Melódico/AOR muy bien ejecutado con buena dosis de solos y teclados bien melódicos. un mal comienzo con "Nothin' I Can Do About It" IMO, ó "Talk to my Heart" a lo Whitesnake, regular.. Mis favoritas son la 2,3,6,7,9,10,11 y la acústica(12) que me recuerda a Dare. "IN YOUR EYES" es la mejor en mi opinión, temazo con un muy buen solo. Recomendado. 8/10

I haven't heard the first one but I am not a fan of this style of music. This album did absolutely nothing for me. There just is not a song that sticks out and grabs a hold of me. Got this as a advance so I am glad I did not have to pay for this one. 65/100

From: Photochromic Steve Date: November 10, 2008 at 17:13
The songs on this one sounded a lot better on a second listening than they did first time round. They reminded me of a louder version of Lost Weekend. What Geoff referred to as the "last odd track" sounds like they swiped the guitar from Bad English's "Time stood still".

I didn't care too much about the sound or production but the songs and let me tell ya somethin' they are kinda good at least to me(if you are an open minded AOR listener, not all the songs of the genre have to sound glorious)...from tracks 5 to 10 in a row are more than "average" ones and far the best cuts in here not to mention the niceables 2 & 3 ones as well...recommended stuff IMHO...89/100

very very average production!!!it s a pity cause this record is really excellent.it s a super class english a o r realise.no weak songs all are very great.the singer have a super voice for this style of a o r.even if the weak point is a poor production i recommand this cd.high quality of a o r!!!!!

From: 123charpenay Date: June 12, 2015 at 16:21
one more time i confirm my last comment.the production could be better.strangely the sound of track one is a real nightmare.for the other songs it s not perfect but better.easy to listen.like their exceptionnal debut album this record is a top class english a o r with many marvellous songs.the two pulse s records will never in my auctions on e bay.they will stay in my collection until the end.
