as far as christian solo artists go this is definetly one of the best albums in the business.the list of musicians on display its just breathtaking, and it shows!musically this album is tremendous also the quality of the material on offer is quite high so what you have here is a classic christian aor release that you shouldnt ignore at any cost.

Great CD! If you like Robert Tepper, this is all you need. 80's pure AOR.

Mega Hi-Tech /West Coast release from one of the big players of the genre. As Rob mentioned, just look at the list of musicians featured. Re-issued a while back with a bonus track (can't remember the title)from the Con Air Soundtrack i think. Excellent althrough, and i love the intro to 'My Religion' (Been listening to 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart by Yes have we Peter!!!!).

From: Rycheage Date: March 10, 2004 at 23:58
Overall, there are so many memorable moments, from the Dann Huff fuelled opener 'I Told You So' right through to the soaring ending of 'Falling From Grace'. And in between, we get glorious slices of AOR such as 'Hangin' By A Thread', 'My Religion', 'Still Of The Night' and the aforementioned pair of 'Not A Day Goes By' and the sublime 'The Bottom Line'. Check that one out for it's chorus and harmony vocals!

From: Beckett Date: May 4, 2004 at 6:50
Superb AOR album from the old Player/Think Out Loud member."My Religion" is a fantastic track.

From: Axe Machine Date: May 13, 2004 at 8:54
I am yet to hear anyone trash this album...aminly because it is brilliant from start to finish. Not exactly in a top-ten classics list, but certainly a worthy listen, as all the songs are superb. Highlight tract 'My Religion' is out of this world.

From: TIM (2) Date: June 2, 2004 at 10:15
Good stuff indeed. No sign of the Player stuff on H.H (unless I'm missing something?)? The man hardly has a duff tune to his name.

From: perillan Date: June 26, 2004 at 14:11
Canciones más rockeras, en onda B.Adams, junto a temas más lentos (algunos en onda westcoast) que son los mejores: temazos como Hangin' By A Thread (D.Huff se sale); The Bottom Line o Still Of The Night son también recomendables.

From: peter poland Date: July 14, 2004 at 4:29
very good album , my fav tracks are: Hangin' By A Thread,mid-tempo ala Richard marx song, uptempo rocker How Can The Girl Refuse in Bryan Adams vain, and last song on this album , with amazing lyrics - Falling From Grace.

From: Thomas Date: December 31, 2004 at 7:36
A truly essential piece of high class AOR/Westcoast rock in it's best form. This solo release is a prime example of production, songwriting and overall performance of the highest calibre.

From: tomcat Date: December 31, 2004 at 7:49
is the same artist who had a song named 'falling from grace' cos that is a real supurb tune...

From: flameofnj Date: January 3, 2005 at 12:20
WHY HASN'T THIS MAN WON ANY GRAMMYS FOR GODS SAKE? I OWN EVERYTHING BY HIM. FELL IN LOVE WITH PLAYER, THEN PETER. IF ONLY MUSIC TODAY HAD THAT KIND OF HEART AND SOUL. PETER ROCKS!!!( AS A MUSICIAN, WRITER AND SINGER) THE VOCALS ARE SOMETHING TO SAVOR. FUNNY YOU MENTION TREVOR RABIN. THEY BOTH WORKED ON ROCK STAR SOUND TRACK. BOTH AWESOME IN WHAT THEY DO AND THEY DO IT ALL!!

From: Stu Date: April 1, 2005 at 12:30
I have this cd on the Long Run label. It has 11 tracks instead of 10. This cd is one of the best AOR albums of all-time. Dann Huff does his best solo work on this cd. I also noticed this has the song "Not A Day Goes By" which also appears on Rick Price's Heaven Knows cd. Standouts are: I Told You So, Hangin' By A Thread & Still Of The Night.

From: victordeaor Date: August 6, 2005 at 13:24
Amo este dico!!!! AOR con mayusculas y un sonido plenamente ochentero. Destacan para mi gusto "Hangin¨by a Thread", "How Can The Girl Refuse" "Still of the Night" y "Not A Day Goes By" que tiene un comienzo similar al memorable "Missing You" de John Waite. Pillalo si tienes oportunidad. Un saludo

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: September 20, 2005 at 3:42
Very Good AOR album, de acuerdo con victordeaor muy buen album, con ese sonido de finales de 80, muy en onda Robert Tepper/Richard Marx/Michael Morales/Bryan Adams es decir estilos asi Still Of The Night, Not A Day Goes By, How Can The Girl Refuse, My Religion, Hangin' By A Thread sin duda alguna los mejores cortes del repertorio, un disco recomendado para todos los amantes del buen AOR con clase, saludos a todos los hermanos del mejor Rock de parte de su amigo Rafo El Ave Fenix.

Great Singer with a great album. 9,25/10

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: July 4, 2006 at 10:54

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: July 4, 2006 at 10:57
perdon 9,4,1(Robert Tepper)

From: ROBERT Date: July 10, 2006 at 19:53
mencion especial para el Grandisimo DAN HUFF Al lorito tb con: THE BOTTOM LINE y STILL OF THE NIGHT a lo Robert Tepper! NOT A DAY GOES BY a lo Missing You del dios John Waite, tb Genuina!! Muy Buen disco d puro WEST COAST. Altamente recomendado! 8'5 d 10!

From: juan carlos Date: July 30, 2006 at 23:57

From: lalorock Date: October 14, 2006 at 23:19
Gran disco ,canciones con esa voz inmensa del cantamte de Player, grandes temas a lo largo de todo el album pero las que sobresalen My religion, Hangin´ by a thread, How can the girl refuse, Not a day goes by, the bottom line, Still of the night(mi favorita)baladasa, puro aor, discazo canciones llenas de melodias y sentimiento, album que no te defraudara para nada;BECKETT por siempre quedará para el recuerdo aunque no saque mas albumes maravillosos como este 9.5/10.

From: Whitesnake Date: December 29, 2006 at 3:51
I`ve got the original of this album. Overall I was dissappointed with this effort. His voice isn`t good, and the melodies neither.

From: Carlos A. Date: March 2, 2007 at 19:12
De acuerdo con Juan C. y Lalo,UN SEÑOR DISCO en donde destaca "Still Of The Night" TOP CLASS, pero ademas "Hangin' By A Thread"(temazo a lo "stay the night" de B.Orr)y "The Bottom Line".No cabe duda se trata de un AOR/Rock Melodico muy trabajado,(aunque no me gusta mucho su cover de Stories del 73´"brother Louie")pero extrañando un poco la voz-falsete del Beckett en sus dias con Player pues este Discazo no te rememora en lo absoluto al Himno mundial de la redencion masculina"Baby Come Back" 9/10

From: ferstyx Date: March 5, 2007 at 15:31
Que mas se puede agragar. Todo ya esta dicho. Imprescindible si te gusta este estilo.

From: ehyder Date: April 3, 2007 at 19:19
Ahhh... what a great record! One classic song after the other..."Hangin' By A Thread", "I Told You So", "Not A Day Goes By"... this is AOR the way it should be and sound. Peter sings great. The players are top notch. Production sounds as it should even after more than 15 years. If you find it, get it !

From: DazBuFF Date: July 24, 2011 at 15:41
