Mega Hi-Tech /West Coast release from one of the big players of the genre. As Rob mentioned, just look at the list of musicians featured. Re-issued a while back with a bonus track (can't remember the title)from the Con Air Soundtrack i think. Excellent althrough, and i love the intro to 'My Religion' (Been listening to 'Owner Of A Lonely Heart by Yes have we Peter!!!!).

Overall, there are so many memorable moments, from the Dann Huff fuelled opener 'I Told You So' right through to the soaring ending of 'Falling From Grace'. And in between, we get glorious slices of AOR such as 'Hangin' By A Thread', 'My Religion', 'Still Of The Night' and the aforementioned pair of 'Not A Day Goes By' and the sublime 'The Bottom Line'. Check that one out for it's chorus and harmony vocals!

I am yet to hear anyone trash this album...aminly because it is brilliant from start to finish. Not exactly in a top-ten classics list, but certainly a worthy listen, as all the songs are superb. Highlight tract 'My Religion' is out of this world.

Good stuff indeed. No sign of the Player stuff on H.H (unless I'm missing something?)? The man hardly has a duff tune to his name.

Canciones más rockeras, en onda B.Adams, junto a temas más lentos (algunos en onda westcoast) que son los mejores: temazos como Hangin' By A Thread (D.Huff se sale); The Bottom Line o Still Of The Night son también recomendables.

A truly essential piece of high class AOR/Westcoast rock in it's best form. This solo release is a prime example of production, songwriting and overall performance of the highest calibre.

WHY HASN'T THIS MAN WON ANY GRAMMYS FOR GODS SAKE? I OWN EVERYTHING BY HIM. FELL IN LOVE WITH PLAYER, THEN PETER. IF ONLY MUSIC TODAY HAD THAT KIND OF HEART AND SOUL. PETER ROCKS!!!( AS A MUSICIAN, WRITER AND SINGER) THE VOCALS ARE SOMETHING TO SAVOR. FUNNY YOU MENTION TREVOR RABIN. THEY BOTH WORKED ON ROCK STAR SOUND TRACK. BOTH AWESOME IN WHAT THEY DO AND THEY DO IT ALL!!

I have this cd on the Long Run label. It has 11 tracks instead of 10. This cd is one of the best AOR albums of all-time. Dann Huff does his best solo work on this cd. I also noticed this has the song "Not A Day Goes By" which also appears on Rick Price's Heaven Knows cd. Standouts are: I Told You So, Hangin' By A Thread & Still Of The Night.

Destacan para mi gusto "Hangin¨by a Thread", "How Can The Girl Refuse" "Still of the Night" y "Not A Day Goes By" que tiene un comienzo similar al memorable "Missing You" de John Waite.

I`ve got the original of this album. Overall I was dissappointed with this effort. His voice isn`t good, and the melodies neither.

De acuerdo con Juan C. y Lalo,UN SEÑOR DISCO en donde destaca "Still Of The Night" TOP CLASS, pero ademas "Hangin' By A Thread"(temazo a lo "stay the night" de B.Orr)y "The Bottom Line".No cabe duda se trata de un AOR/Rock Melodico muy trabajado,(aunque no me gusta mucho su cover de Stories del 73´"brother Louie")pero extrañando un poco la voz-falsete del Beckett en sus dias con Player pues este Discazo no te rememora en lo absoluto al Himno mundial de la redencion masculina"Baby Come Back" 9/10

Ahhh... what a great record! One classic song after the other..."Hangin' By A Thread", "I Told You So", "Not A Day Goes By"... this is AOR the way it should be and sound. Peter sings great. The players are top notch. Production sounds as it should even after more than 15 years. If you find it, get it !

Splendid cover of Brother Louie from Hot Chocolate, done full of power and soul. Hangin' by a thread is pure ear candy, with good vocals and top guitar work. Nice cd.
