I got this CD from PJ of KissMyDisc fame, who lured me into trading for it by insisting it was like a glammier version of Harem Scarem. Folks, that description is nearly dead on. Slick production, good guitars, hooks galore, & generous harmony vocals are the name of the game here. Once you get this in your stereo, you won't want to take it out. An excellent album, one that deserves more attention than it gets. Worth going to the ends of the earth to track down a copy.

Excellent album from start to finish. Thanks Burt!

WOW!!! I like the band name....and the description by M.Allen!!!! Is this one of those that go for bazillions of dollars? Or can the peons (like me...lol...) of this world afford it?

From: TIM Date: February 28, 2004 at 23:51
Uhhh...no. LOL

From: MJ (Marla) Date: February 29, 2004 at 1:09
Kinda what I figured Oh well..... Just thought I would ask...

From: TIM Date: February 29, 2004 at 2:06
Don't worry, plenty of great stuff that will cost you less.

I picked this CD up for $11 dollars just recently for my own collection. Then got another one quite easily and had promised it to another collector some time ago. There are copies floating around out there and can be found eventually. If you dig Harem Sarem meets Emerald Rain then get this. This band later became Driving West.

I sit here amazed at these reviews. I'm not hear to second-guess anyone else's opinions, but Harem Scarem and Emerald Rain comparisons? I think this is a pretty good disc, but the fillers here outweigh the gems by a MASSIVE amount. The sound is thin, production extremely low budget and simple and the majority of the songs are as average as hard rock gets. I'd label about 3 or 4 as good melodic hard rock. Extremely dissapointed, but I still really appreciate the trade from Taki! Thanks mate

They totally rock. My favorite song Daddy's Girl. It was released as a single.

From: boomdude Date: June 23, 2005 at 16:01
Rumor has it that Sahara Rain is getting together for a one time only reunion tour at the Barley House in Dallas, TX. Negotiations are underway with Vh-1 for the full video treatment (rock on!!!!!) If anyone else wants this recorded for posterity, like I do, everyone send and email to VH-1 to voice your craving for more Sahara Rain!!! email them at: privacyadmin@vh1.com Maybe we can all be Groove slaves once again!! From: YNGWIEVIKING Date: August 14, 2007 at 2:18
Good average AOR , with good musicianship and good vocals harmonies but the prod. it's way too thin & weak !they are from Texas not Sweden !!!!77/100 HAREM SCAREM are far far better ! But if you can find it cheap , there is some great tracks "say no more" "livin in a world..."But it's kind of HTF Great drummer TOMMY O'STEEN from BLUE MURDER fame is playing on 2 tracks !

From: drummer777 Date: June 3, 2009 at 14:56
I would love to get a copy of this cd or even buy one.

From: juan carlos Date: June 5, 2009 at 20:28
Very good Melodic HR/AOR! yep, two negative points here are the Production and Fillers (too many Fillers). "U & I" "Say No More"(sound like an Emerald Rain Clone!!) "Any Other Way"(Nice acoustic song!) "Faith" "Don’t Let Your Love Slip Away" and "Wish It Away" are Really good songs!. Catchy hooks/Tunes. Recommended. 8.2/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: May 2, 2011 at 22:57
For me this album was not my cup of tea..ok..it has good moments but the production makes the album a bit poor and the vocalist is just there..nothing to kill for...the track list in here has a missing track(the album is comprised of 15 songs)and the band is not Sweedish but American..."Can U Feel The Music" & "Living In A World Gone" are songs,"Any Other Way" is nice,"Groove Slave" a very instrumental one,"Don't Let Your Love Slip Away" reminded me of Whitesnake(far inferior but there),"Say No More" is the one that got my real attention ,pleasant AOR,"Faith","U & I" & "Power Of Hope"(a short instrumental trashy metal song?)...anyway ups and downs in the songs...up 2 ya guys .84/100

From: Japangea Date: July 1, 2018 at 3:11
They were from the states. Yes. They are like Harem Scarem. NO! You must forget about Extreme!
