If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Bangkok Shock CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Bangkok Shock are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The first release from this band out of Las Vegas. The album has a Faster Pussycat meets punk sound that, like their second album, takes a bit of getting used to. I like this one just a bit more due to it having a stronger sleaze sound and less punk than their follow up. Production again is hit and miss. "Shot Down" and "Any Way She Can Get It" would be my favorite songs. Some sounbytes from their albums can be found here: http://members.tripod.com/~eswift/shock/music.htm

At first i thought this was weak, it takes a couple of spins to really "get it", it grows on me a little more each time i hear it. 6/10

Now this is the most common complaint I have with obscure indie cd's like this one: THE PRODUCTION. I mean, I picked up Axtion, Bittersweet, and this cd the other day, and I have the same review for each one: GREAT SONGS, AWFUL PRODUCTION. This sounds like it was recorded in the back of some one's garage. And it's a shame, because the songs sound like they could be pretty good!
