The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Harpo CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Harpo are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Those of you who like ELI - Push It Hard will fall in love with this very little known gem. There are also some influences of DONATELLO in a few spots as well. A Killer CD that is a must have!!!! |

This is an excellent album from Harpo, one of their best. They have 5 albums all together, they had one after this one which is a live album. I have seen them live dozens of times, they are from my area. They have been broken up for about 5 years, and have done 1 reunion show about 3 years ago. Great Hard Rock/Melodic Metal. Also, former members of Harpo, Jack Pyers and Brian Perry when on to be in Dirty Looks. If anyone wants and info on Harpo, let me know. |

Mokadeth is right , these guys were awesome! I only wish I could lay my hands on some of their recorded work so I could convert it to CD. Any help out there? wkuitems@msn.com |

The FIRST release from Harpo, which was only available on LP, is the one to find. It features Jack Pyers, who went on to join Dirty Looks. The live album is killer. I also have the 2nd LP (another record). Only heard it once until my record player died. Good stuff. I don't think Harpo ever made a bad album. Everything they did was killer. (creeper@sunlink.net) |

I can't confirm this, but I was told that Harpo was only playing four shows for the reunion tour, the Pittston show and the three listed to follow. |

Wow, I could have sworn these guys were German! It sounds like the singer's got an accent and I was likening these guys to Zardoz, or some fellow European hard rockers. I wasn't in the mood to hear this and it didn't go down too well, but I guess it's good solid hard rock. Very unoriginal, nothing new here. It's good for what it is, but I wouldn't bother recommending it. |
