The best 'funck-hardrock' band in history with one of their heaviest releases. Good stuff ! |
From: CC | Date: February 19, 2004 at 9:38 |
Absolutely brilliant album, probably the heaviest funk/rock album I've heard. Mothers Finest are probably one of the most overlooked bands from the 70s. Fans of Dan Reed should check these guys out! |

Agree with all previous. This album rocks!! A very solid production and Baby Jeans voice is amazing-if you dont own this-you should. |

Marla you will not regret it. Another album by the band is Ironage-recently re-released on Wounded Bird. Funk and AC/DC riffing I kid you not-but it works |

Hi Marla Glad you like it!! |

Lead singers Joyce Kennedy and Glenn Murdock are as passionate as ever, and the songwriting is first-rate. While "Like a Negro" protests racism and "Stop" warns that unsafe sex can result in AIDS, "Crack Babies" addresses the horrors of babies born to cocaine-addicted mothers. Excellent stuff here. |
