if you know the cult from 'electric', 'sonic temple' or 'ceremony' you can be disappointed reaching out for this album... dreamtime is a continuation of the music they made as southern death cult/death cult. i would classify 'dreamtime' as gothic rock. anyway the album is worth to have - containes high level dreaming tunes. |

prowler put it correctly, don't expect Sonic Temple or anything like that. I'm not sure what I would classify it other than boring. |

A Dark Rock album with some(almost little)Hard Rock feeling in it...tracks 1,2,5,6,7( )& 9 are fine but nothing to jump outta bed...if you like The Mission UK or maybe Killing Joke then this debut by The Cult might be appealing but if you are more into the Hard Rock side the band did years later then skip thi ones...78/100 |
