If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular The Black Crowes CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from The Black Crowes are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

It's basically a pretty A-class retrospective of their career... all the songs are good, nothing to dislike here. My only criticism is that the song Hotel Illness isn't on here, since not only is it one of my favorite songs by the band and it was also a single, so it should have been represented anyway. Oh well, that's what CDRs are for I guess. If you've got their albums, this is worthless, but for an overview, it's a solid slab of quality raunchy hard rock.

Awesome retrospective of The Black Crowes. If you like this, check out their first three albums as they do have some good album track, especially "Southern Harmony". 9/10

I don't proclaim to be the biggest Black Crowes fan going around. I have Shake Your Money Maker which was great and this best of. This album is amazing! It is great for people who don't own all the Black Crowes cd's! I have a lot of Best Of's in my collection, and this is right up there with the best of them. Great rock n roll band similar in style to The Rolling Stones with a southern american twist. Too many great songs to mention here, but they are all covered in this collection. 9.5/10....

Invest in their fist cd, "Southern Harmony" & "By Your Side". Then, you will have everything worth owning. The rest is forgettable.
