This CD is lots of fun- TOTAL 100% Sunset Strip glam-party metal. If you like Pretty Boy Floyd's "Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz", Tigertailz' "Bezerk" or Poison's "Look What the Cat Dragged In", you MUST check out "Rock n Roll" and "Outrageous". Catchy, sing-along choruses that stick faster than crazy glue on your bicycle seat. Good production too, I discovered this CD last year... just in time for summer! |

'time stood still' is one of the best ballads ever!!! This is a fun album.. |

Does this sound like "Mixed up world"? Haven't been able to find it anywhere. |
From: TIM | Date: February 17, 2004 at 14:28 |
Dean, don't know the answer to your question, but Foxy Roxx and Heart Throb Mob are currently on Ebay. |

This is one of the best glam albums of the 90's. Catchy as hell. Too bad these guys broke up. Guitarist Jerry Vayne is active now as a solo artist. |

Jerry's solo stuff, imo, beats the crap out of Foxy Roxx. If you find this cd on ebay, it'll generally cost about $50. Just warning anybody. I didn't think that the second cd was anywhere as good as this. That said, I also totally preferred HTM and QBP to these guys. Like I said, though, Jerry's solo cd (Disillusions of Grandeur) is incredible. Still can be ordered from him directly. |

CC Lover is absolutely right about Jerry's solo CD. It's amazing stuff!! As for Foxy Roxx. Always loved the band, but again, i prefer Shake The Foundation to Mixed Up World. Mixed Up World is still a cracking CD but STF still blows me away today. |

I also agree that Jerry's CD is MUCH better than this. I also cannot agree with comparisons to PBF or Tigertailz. This is much more on the punkier side of glam, and the only very accurate comparison I can make is to Hollywood Teasze. I don't mind this CD - it is a cool collection of glam with punk influences, also like Peppermint Creep. There are a lot better, but this is pretty cool. |

Yep Jerry Vayne's solo stuff is awesome. I love both Foxy Roxx Cds both have their coolness. Shake The Foundation is more street glam...and in my opinion the Mixed Up World cd was a bit more punkier glam...Both excellent cds I may add. |

A glam masterpiece. Where's my hairspray? |

Great glam cd...buy or die! |
From: Joshy St. Jaimz | Date: March 1, 2006 at 20:56 |
Agree with Geoff in saying there are definite 'punkish' qualities here, but are extremely mild, probably most evident in the song 'Leave Me Alone'. Overall this is an incredible glam album made up of fun party themed tunes with simple to the point lyrics and wonderful sing along choruses. Add this to your collection now. |

Hugely disappointing...tracked this down expecting a hybrid of Pretty Boy Floyd and Tigertailz but got poorly played and produced punk rock which I find incredibly annoying. If it had`nt cost so much this would be flying thru the air Frisbee style. AVOID!!!!! |

Believe it or not, I liked this. A band like this has to be of a certain caliber for me to like, and these guys deliver the goods. Good sing-a-long songs that will stay in your head for weeks. I usually diss glam like this, but this had just enough attitude and catchiness to capture my interest |

Any band that has "FUCK YOU NOW" in their lyrics...is alright by me.. My faves are DRINK ALL NIGHT & LEAVE ME ALONE...that is exactly the activity & mood you should be in to listen to this album Overall Album Grade : D Overall Best Song Grade : C+ (DRINK ALL NIGHT/LEAVE ME ALONE) Not a fan of the vocals...that in itself dragged the rating down a notch or two. |
