I have no hesitation in recommending this CD to anyone who enjoys quality melodic rock/AOR. It's right up there with the Harem Scarem and Harlan Cage. Whatever the case, Winter Parade look set to join the ranks of AOR heroes for the 21st Century a la Urban Tale, and in the process, reminding us all that we should be focusing on the new breed of melodic rock.

Winter Parade / White Diamond, whatever you want to call them. Either way this is another cool collection of melodic rock songs with the 80's commercial edge to them. I think it's only the singer from White Diamond, but either way the sound and style is identical. Very good CD.

Excellent melodic rock ! Unlike Juancarlos i love the song Save me Tonight. This has nothing to do with Harem Scarem tho. Couldnot be further from the truth ( rycheage all copied tekst btw from an other site). This is your typical scandi rock the way i love it. Accesible and nice chorusses. Days of our Lives and the Symbol of Love are melodic rockers a la Save me T. Rain on and Its just another day are very nice mid paced songs. This Game of Life is scandi heaven.

This is how Crystal Blue should have sounded today and Da Vinci could have sounded today 8,8/10 Nice surprise !

I also think it's the same singer of White Diamond,BTW killer melodick rock/aor even if the voice sometimes isn't so OK(in White Diamond is always perfect).White Diamond is one of the best cds'I ever heard in melodick rock....

Maybe my most long awated album after this one and finally I can cry again. This is one of my fave aor bands and their 2'cd is awesome as the debut. What a band....

Yeah i think the first comment(Rycheage) fits us all...good album but not to hesitate too much about it...Bjorn's voice is similar to Joey Tempest at certain moments but obviously not as good as the Europe's mic man..."Days Of Our Lives","Midnight In Paradise","It's Just Another Day" & "Don't Let It Rain On My Parade" are my faves...85/100

very good debut for WINTER PARADE from Norway offering commercial hard rock music .a little bit on the lighter but with fine songs and nice melodic lines!nothing blowminding but these guys knew what they wanted to do and you ll find some good moments like "save me tonight","midnight paradise" and "valentine s day!recommended but dont go high for it
