The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you
notice that a particular Salty Dog CD release or compilation is missing
from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page.
The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies
as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live
compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official
CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Salty Dog are also welcome to be added, as
long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

|One man's trash is another's treasure might be stretching it for this one, even if you are a fan of the band's debut. This is the planned 2nd album by the band that was never released. Rock Candy released the remastered " Every Dog has it's day" (1990) last year. When ever I hear the band's minor hit "Come Along" I am transported back in time to KNAC nite at the Red Onion night clubs in LA/OC which looked like Tawny Kitaen MTV video chick tryouts. Any red blooded dude would have silver dollar eyes watching the ladies strut their stuff to that one. You can't accuse this band of being a overproduced hair band, with it's bar-room, blues boogie vibe. Darrel Beach takes over on vox for original vocalist Jimmi Bleacher. The two singers have a similar shriek. Before the band died they recorded some demos which never got a label so on ice for almost 30 years, here you are. Nothing to write home about but worth a listen if you where a fan.
