Don't think this is any good at all. You can't compare this to Journey or Bad English at all !

This shouldn't be compared to Journey or Bad English - as with Neal's other solo cd's, very different!!!. This is excellent, and is amongst the best stuff he has recorded, also recommended is the fabulous 'Beyond The Thunder'and 'Electric World' cd's for some Phenomenal guitar playing.

Jez, I agree... Freddy's just being a pain in the ass (as usual!). The only thing that Neal has done outside of Journey that even remotely resembles Journey is Bad English. Santana, Hardline, HSAS, Schon/Hammer, and his other solo releases each have totally different personalities, which (to me) just makes him all the more versatile.

Yes, i know it's very different, but i'm not comparing it to Journey or Bad English. All i'm sayin' is that You cannot deny , it's a must have for fans of his music. He is a big part of Journey or Bad English, so i'd be great to own that cd, if you're fan/collector of His projects

Peter, that wasn't aimed at you; in fact, I agree! It's a great disc. Unfortunately, AORFreaky, a.k.a. Freaky Freddy, rarely has anything positive to say and can be quite annoying when he screws around with the ratings - just ask Blue Charvel!!

Who? Me? I LOVE the Bashful Belgian! To keep it on topic...I haven't heard this, but I love Neal's playing.

Que se puede decir de un genio como Neal? Es un disco GENIAL, instrumental tranquilito, para escuchar sin perder ni un solo detalle, un 10/10 aunque el BEYOND THE THUNDER le doy un 11/10, para mi es mejor incluso que este.

I think the combination of Schon and studio hound Bob Marlette on 'Late Nite' is an inspired piece of genius. The fiery playing of Schon tempered with Marlette's soothing melodies lend this to being a mature listen for those who like late nite grooves and classy atmospheric melodic rock.

Any casual fan of Journey, Bad English, or Hardline may not get the Neal Schon they want on this solo album but they should certainly appreciate it for what it is. Nice combo of instrumentals ("Le Dome" has a superb layering of keys & guitars) and AOR-ish tunes ("Softly" is a gorgeous ballad). My only gripe was the inclusion of "Blackened Bacon", a country-fried blues number that sticks out like a sore thumb.I would have loved a couple of harder rockin' tunes but I enjoyed it anyway. Rating 6/10

Couldn't agree more with Rycheage. Rocker76 you 're right about blackened bacon, it doesn't fit in the record. Enjoy listening this cd , on a beautiful late nite groove....

Very pleasant album and with a good cast of musicians in it!!! Neal Schon easily could fit any 3G concert surely ..."Late Nite"(beautiful song),"Softly"(great smoothie),"The Theme"(passionate),"I'll Be Waiting"(another beauty),"I'll Cover You"(excellent),"Smoke Of The Revolution"(AOR feel here and there),"Inner Circles"(killer!)...the axe behind Journey and some other awesome projects(Bad English,Hardline) is here with his first solo album...what else can i say to you guys???...get it!!!.95/100
