| another bunch of english guys trying to sound american!!...oh well what can you do about it!? i guess you cant beat the yankees at their own game.burn might sound american but they manage to do it with conviction and they actually do it pretty good too!!."knock me out" is one hell of an opener and from then onwards they keep grabbing the listeners attention by maintaining a good pace between rockers and uptempo numbers.there is nothing here that you havent heard before but....who cares right!?

| Thia is actually a great album if you like Rock-by-numbers. The Guitarist is classy, there's Keys aswell & a whole load of catchy choruses to get your teeth into....Oh & singer Jeff kinda sounds just like Jon Bon Jovi!(He really does...it's uncanny) If that's your bag...cool! It was released by a small UK label (Fomula One records) so There's not too many out there. A great Debut album...a shame because the follow up was way off the mark. Very Def Leppard/Bon Jovi based.

| There are some big sounding songs here, such as the opener 'Knock Me Out', 'Rip It Up' and the fun filled 'Boys Night Out'. 'Maybe It's Love' has a lot of keyboards in it, while 'Standing On The Edge Of Love' is their token attempt at a ballad, and it works, with a lot of radio appeal suggesting it could've done well if given a chance. Their best track by far is the killer 'We Are The Young', with pulsing bass lines and a strong anthemic chorus.

| Original? No. Excellent hard rock? Damn straight! Been listening to this one on and off all day, and it just gets better with each listen. Lots of sing-along choruses here, with "Knock Me Out","Boys Night Out","Standing on the Edge of Love", and the freaking incredible "We Are the Young" being stand-outs (I think all these songs have been mentioned by previous reviewers, and I totally agree; great songs!). Well worth grabbing when it pops up from time to time on eBay! Get it!

I like this one... "Knock Me Out" for sure... I normally love the "Love songs" but "Standing On The Edge Of Love" just did nothing for me.  I love "Rip It Up"...lol...talk about sing along!! LOVE "Doctor's Orders"!!

| Now this one will heat your speakers up quite nicely. The lead vocalist sounds so much like Jon Bon Jovi it's uncanny. The band, while British, never strays far from the commercial hard rock sound that was so popular in the late 80s, meaning you get catchy hooks, sing-along choruses, and plenty of harmony vox. Crisp, tight, & well-produced, so any fan of feel-good, summertime, fist-pumping hard rock/hair-metal should get their hands on a copy. This was the band's debut...well, so far so good.

| I've got to say, this just gets better & better with every listen. so Far So Bad & Maybe It's Love are the two tracks which really stand out for me.

| "Maybe It's Love" vaya Tema totalmente recomendable para todo adicto al Melodic HardRock, "Standing On The Edge" en ritmo lento solo ok, de las HardRockeras están la inicial "Knock Me Out" ó "Rip It Up". "We Are The Young" está lo mas alto de la lista sin dudas, Hey Rycheage te olvidaste de "Into The Fire" con más de 6 minutos MHR de gran calidad que cierra muy bien el album. Tiene sus momentos, aceptable. 8/10

| Hmmmm not sure with this one it's a defo grower! Agree with the above comments on tracks 1, 4, 5 good tunes, and the album is AWESOMELY produced. Big sound, good guitar sound, singer not too bad (could be better on some tracks) good old hard rock, like Firehouse, Gotthard and all that stuff but still not that Saints and Sinners rival lol... This is nothing like one of the previous comments stating it sounds like Bon Jovi, China, and Treat, got em all and this is nothing like em... KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

| Decent album...the best cut for me is "We Are The Young" which is a good AOR song...then another highlights are "Knock Me Out"(superb!),"Maybe It's Love","So Far,So Bad" & "Into The Fire"...85/100
