just bought their second album 'control yorself'....it`s awsome. great keyboard orientated melodic aor.

From: erik Date: March 4, 2004 at 6:36
i agree with the above comment. got their second album also recently. excellent melodic aor. with some catchy tunes on it. erikhardam@hetnet.nl

Delightful Canadian AOR. Haven't heard the 2nd album, but if it's even close to this- it's worth owning. Put Skagarack, AKA, The Koo, Starship, and Styx into a blender and this is what you'd get. Plenty of keys and a mix of lite and uptempo tunes.

From: Jimmy Katone Date: December 5, 2004 at 8:16
This CD, in my opinion, is a pop masterpiece. Looking back, there were many problems trying to get this thing to sound right and it took far too long to record. The mixing board was cracked in half by vandals and never repaired properly. Paul Piccari and I mixed this entire record and it was painstaking. We had to use some mixes that weren't as good as others because crackles and pops plagued the better versions. It was difficult but the outcome was alright. Glad you still like it! Jimmy Katone

this band is not Canadian, they r from New Jersey/P.A. area. This is a great album and a very catchy album indeed!!! An aor lover's dream, Magic, Moment, Don;t Look, and Too Late are great. It was released in 89, but to me, sounds more like early 80's in the type of songs, this is a great one and not easy to find. Good production!!! One of my all time favs!!!! Over and Over should of been the hit!!!

From: TIM Date: March 13, 2005 at 9:39
'An Original' is by far my favorite. Just love the guitar.

From: Bill Noble Date: May 2, 2005 at 6:03
What can I say, one of the best albums of the 80's if you can find it! Hit the ground runnin defined what the rock was about 2 decades ago, great songs, great musicianship and production that was perfected. Love to hear more from these chaps.

From: Kim HP Date: November 17, 2005 at 15:29
Yeah this is a must for any AOR fan. Awesome keyboarddominated 80's AOR here! Great melodies! Only the production could've been better, but all in all, a highly recommended CD...

From: poproxx2007 Date: December 22, 2005 at 20:04
Great CD!!!

From: aMetalhead1966 Date: January 19, 2006 at 10:35
A thousand skins for this? For that amount you could probably hire the band to play for ya....LOL....I can't imagine this being that good.

From: girapolli Date: March 23, 2006 at 4:51
hahahahaha i'm so curious who's the bid dupe that spend over $1000 on this as i've seen it in a cd store near bergamo at a cheap price some times ago

From: wyldside Date: September 14, 2006 at 11:41
Anyone out there that might possible copy this for me on CDR, i'll replace it with a bunch of blank ccs for your time and effort.

From: rbrigade Date: November 8, 2008 at 12:58
Average and boring. A really poor album. Not only weak productionwise but also lacking any real standout tracks. Honestly I wouldn't buy it even for 5 bucks. Or maybe I should so I could make a fortune reselling it, lol.

From: qwest Date: July 12, 2009 at 9:28
HA-HA-HA!!!! I just bought this disc from a secondhand shop in Budapest. I spend around 10 dollars for it. I saw the price on ebay.Thats wierd. Not a must have album by the way...

From: Delbert Date: January 31, 2010 at 14:19
This band is awesome and features superb catchy, melodic AOR that's played to perfection. It reminds me of bands like SKAGARACK, STARSHIP, THE KOO and REDSTONE. It's just one of those CDs that defines AOR and it's a top collector's piece.......extremely difficult to find these days. The vocal harmonies, big keys, solid guitars and brilliant musicianship makes this absolutely essential. One of best CDs for AOR affectiones.....

$823.17..if you are lucky enough to find it in E-bay...the most expensive album in the site as Rafo Phoenix said some comments ago..ok for me the album has its moments but honestly i wouldn't give this much money for it..as i said it has its moments...to start the review i must say that if you are into these bands(The Outfield and Reo Speedwagon-if Reo sounded this 'poppy')then you might appreciate this release...Blair Ramsey is voice alike to Tony Lewis(The Outfield)& Kevin Cronin and the tracks could easily fit into an The Outfield album..ok,let's get to the point..'Magic' is a very good opening track, the way it should be in starters,'Moment To Moment' nice mid tempo, the kind of songs i love to hear,'Slow Motion' is the first highlight of the album, good track indeed,'Don't Look' is agood song, normal stuff..then the rest of the songs are the ones i liked the best,'Oh No!' & 'An Original' started to involve me more in the listening, very cool tracks..'Over&Over'...continue...

From: rick kerch vzla Date: April 20, 2010 at 17:57
...continue...'Who's Walking You Home' & 'Too Late' are just amazing songs and the last one 'While It Lasted' is just the peak of the mountain, the one that caught my attention completely..The Outfield (musically and vocally),Starship(Delbert's comment)and Reo Speedwagon(being poppier and mostly because the voice comparisson too) are the closest bands i could think of.Not a bad album, enjoyable 4 us,the AOR listeners but not too essential,if u can grab this cheaper,do it,if not, don't get mad about it...as i always say, just a matter of taste.90/100

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: April 22, 2010 at 0:43
I will change my rating Good AOR album, 80/100.

From: aornufc Date: September 22, 2010 at 8:05
Certainly a good album but, is it really worth $800 or more???

From: brianrr600 Date: November 10, 2010 at 2:37
pretty good , sounds like mid 80's pop , not worth $ 700 + , brianrr600@aol.com

From: DazBuFF Date: August 1, 2014 at 3:06
Come jimmy and Paul a d the rest of the group, talk to aor heaven or rock candy records lets get this little gem remastered and rereleased and get a few more royalties in ur pockets. Hell lets get a couple of bonus songs that you guys did for this gem as well. Good music should be enjoyed by all without a fucking cd - fucking - r piece of crap copy.

From: DazBuFF Date: September 27, 2014 at 5:03
Hey Dan, What happened why did you place the value of this cd at a value of a buck? Did the guys yell at you or did they rerelease this?

From: Leykis101 Date: June 17, 2015 at 7:39
He probably was just telling you what the value of the cd was!

From: masmusic Date: January 31, 2017 at 16:19
A copy just sold on eBay this Sunday for $1035.00 WHOW! I have a CDR of this that my buddy made me from his original a few years back, just dug it out and going to have a listen. Can't remember what it sounded like!

From: nimzo Date: August 12, 2021 at 17:35
Awesome AOR album , with very good keyboards an catchy chorus. Very goood production. It include great tracks like "Moment to Moment", "Don't You Look Back" or "Oh No!"

From: Judith Date: February 12, 2022 at 18:44
I love this album. Moment to moment and while it lasted are my favorites. My dad plays a invisible guitar when original comes on 😂
