One of those cds that every song is really good, and that's saying a lot! Get it

From: FABIEN Date: October 6, 2001 at 4:20
I've been looking for this CD for many years!NOW i've finally found it and i'm not deceived!GREAT ALBUM!The opening tittle "Pretty things" is the perfect mix between a glam/pop melody and a pumping Rock n'Roll groove. The same goes for all the tunes!"Happiness" is the kind of song that make me feel GOOD; "L.A." is a gem too.In my top 20 HAIR BAND list!

From: koogles Date: January 1, 2002 at 11:35
Crotch-level glam out of Canada never quite carves out a distinct identity beyond that of "Warrant's second cousin". Still, tracks like "Baby Doll" and "Dollar in My Pocket" are as good as anything that came out of L.A. The rest of the CD is pretty disposable.

From: FABIEN Date: January 8, 2002 at 16:15
Hey!Koogles!I think that you're the one that is "pretty disposable".

From: koogles Date: January 13, 2002 at 6:57
FABIEN: If you put this CD in your Top 20, I'd suggest going to AORHEAVEN immediately and filling your shopping cart with music worth listening to.

From: CRUSHER Date: January 15, 2002 at 0:09

From: magicmandala Date: July 21, 2002 at 14:42
Wicked album i finally bought it yesterday considering some asshole stole it from me not too long after it first got released that's about 10 years ago and then some to go without this cd.

From: Jimmy Splat Date: August 16, 2002 at 11:34
Any word on the band, Who's the lead singer and did any of them go on to pursue other musical vunue's??? Yes THEY as well as EDMONTON ROCKS!!!

From: Mike Date: July 15, 2003 at 12:43
I'm sorry everyone, this CD is BAD. A few OK songs at best, the rest are below average. This is no way a Glam band, more like a AOR, soft rock type band. I did give this a few listens and couldn't get myself to like much about this music. I'm selling the copy I just bought on ebay now. I'd give this a 2/10 for 2 ok songs.

From: FRATELLO Date: December 11, 2003 at 6:33
Like many others bands from Canada, Big House know the secret of true party rocking glam style music. They sound great, the songs are cool. "Dollar in my pocket", "All nite", "Refuse To Run" are glam at its best!!! The other songs are too at high level. Don't miss this CD!!! I rate them 8/10.

From: RattnRoll Date: March 16, 2004 at 13:26
Ok a good thing about it: Can't cry anymore is a pretty good song A bad thing about it: Can't cry anymore is about the only pretty good song. As a whole I'm a little let down by this one, most of the songs don't stick, the lyrics are awefully cheesy, the guitars are hardly exciting and the vocals would have been good if he tried not so hard to get a twitch in his singing with every song. All in all 6/10.

From: Geoff Date: June 9, 2004 at 3:38
Although being far from spectacular, I do find this to be pretty good and consistant hard rock CD. 'Dollar in my pocket' and 'Baby doll' are obvioulsy the gems of the album, but 'LA' is by far the pick for me. Those three are brilliant and the rest, though not being spectacular, I feel they are all good songs. Nothing too bad amongst them at all. Great CD overall.

From: Kip Date: August 26, 2004 at 15:32
Dollar In My Pocket is a good tune. Other than that, err... hmmm. Don't pay a lot for this... But if you are like me and will buy any CD just to get a good song you don't have, then by all means, buy it 2/10

Well Kip, we may not agree about Axel Rudi Pell's playing ability, but we sure as hell agree on this! I was really hyped to get this when I heard "Dollar" and after hearing the rest of it...well...I wanted my damn dollar back... IMHO mostly filler with a couple of inspired moments, mostly at the beginning of the disc.

From: Dean Date: August 26, 2004 at 16:53
I'm in the same boat as you guys who only were able to get into "Dollar" and that was about it. Gave it several chances and finally gave up and threw "Dollar" on a mixed cd and got rid of the original. 4/10

From: ninjapeter Date: March 28, 2005 at 5:35
Let's be fair, it's a solid album, great feel good glam rock. I like it quite a bit, all of it too. Better than most now a days.

From: Dan Friml Date: April 18, 2005 at 5:14
Many bad comments.. I'm surprised! I have to say that I really like this album. Dollar in my Pocket, All Nite, L.A., Baby Doll are very good tracks, the rest is way better than most of the current hard rock stuff. Solid Glam/Hard Rock. Give it another chance guys!

From: hardrock85 Date: October 11, 2005 at 12:51
Big House......i pushed play and all i heard was this deafining bass line....sounds like a great hard rock disc to me which it is!! Dollar in my Pocket, Baby Doll, LA, All Nite and Refuse to Cry along w/ Can't Cry Anymore are just rockin tunes!! w/ only one disc under their belt, they sure knew how to rock, was the lead singer a punk skater?........hmm........

From: wings Date: December 18, 2005 at 18:12

From: z4roxx Date: October 24, 2007 at 13:34
Very very good commercial hard rock/glam!I would only get the first one if it's good like this one....

From: the rocker Date: January 19, 2008 at 10:26
like already stated, nothing really new,but if you're looking for 80's good time rock ,this is it.

From: rocksoul Date: September 28, 2010 at 15:27
great album...I like very much and it's one of the first cd bought....they could be famous.

From: rockhardrock Date: January 2, 2011 at 16:27
tipical 80s hard rock album, like so many. nothing special here, got some fillers and some gems. my faves:dollar in my pocket, all nite and baby doll.

From: happy2849 Date: January 13, 2011 at 13:08
While not one of the best released in 1991 it does have a few tracks worth hearing. You can usually get it for a decent price so take a chance. You may be surprised!

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 31, 2011 at 22:01
This release is a pleasant one, just that, far from a killer one or a must have IMHO...the best track for me is "LA" but there are some other goodies..."Refuse 2 Run" & "Angel On My Arm"(both with some The Cult feel to it),"All Nite","Can't Cry Anymore" & "Nothing Comes 4 Free"( )...good vocalist, typical one for these kinds o' bands and nice glammy hooks...88/100

From: grab.em.all Date: June 22, 2012 at 11:57
Very, very cool cd ... Give it a try and as "happy2849" said "You may be surpised" :-)
