I've seen quite a few bad reviews about this one,but if you've loved the band up until now then you sure won't be disappointed with this effort. In fact Toby Hitchcock sings better than ever here,& some of these songs (3,4,6,11,12) are just colossal AOR tunes. "Language of the Heart" is truly a work of genius. A few lighter moments on side 2 affect the momentum (tracks 7,9 & 10) but such is the quality of the rest you wont care. Not the classic "The Destiny Stone" was but still essential. 9/10.

I regard this one as the confirmation of the great success that this band is achieveing at the melodic rock world. From their first album they demonstrated to us how powerful music can be. Two thumbs up for Mr. Peterik (with Paul McCartney, the best composers all over the Earth: I hope one day they would be able to write something together) and for Toby and her sister too. I do prefer this one rather than their last studio album. 10/10. OUTSTANDING!!!!

“The Roaring Of Dreams” -(El rugir de sueños).

“Language Of The Heart” y “Let Me Let You Go” nos hacen recordar irremediablemente a SURVIVOR por sus riffs y sus teclados.“Let Me Let You Go” por su increíble gancho.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH " MR.PETERIK,MR.AQUINO And Toby Hitchcock!!! igual a FRONTIERS RECORDS,POR PERMITIR A LOS PRIDE OF LIONS EXPRESAR SU GENIALIDAD!

Absolutely outstanding! A really really good one. Of course the first album is a complete classic, but this one comes close and I think it is even better than the previous album "The Destiny Stone". A complete must for every Survivor fan. Some minor criticism on the mix. Only the title track is "just ok", the rest is superb classic AOR. Buy!

I was one of the few that wasn't completely blown away with the debut (except the excellent pairng of 'Sound Of Home' & 'Turn To Me') and thought 'The Destiny Stone' was a much better album in general. With This I still don't like the first 3 songs, but the rest of this is pretty damned good overall.

'Language Of The Heart' is top notch AOR & I really like the pairing of the more Westcoast style tracks of 'Secret Of The Way' & 'Astonish You' later into the album. 'Tall Ships' is another belter (even the 'Fog Horn' effect) but 'Turnaround' is way too overdone (as with tracks 1-3). Toby Hitchcock is excellent as usual & seems get better with subsequent releases & on here he really is the star of the show. Over all a good disc, better than the debut but not quite as good as 'The Destiny Stone'.

Fantastic piece of work. More or less at the same quality level with POL's debut. In a mediocre AOR year this was definitely the best album. God save Jim Peterik.

Jim Peterik is a master that's 4 sure and Toby Hitchcock his most advanced disciple!!!...this album could be described as "another" great release by The Prides or may i say Mr Peterik???...then if you are a fan of good melodic rock songs with a little edgy side... buy this one immediately!!!."Love's Eternal Flame","Language Of The Heart","Defying Gravity","The Roaring Of Dreams" & "Turnaround" are "soon 2 b" classic songs within the melodic rock territory.90/100

This is kind of in between the (not as good as their) first and the (better than their) second album. It contains some forgettable songs (I can't sum them up 'caus I forgot them), some songs where the voice of Toby Hitchcock is way too much upfront and unbearable (The roaring of dreams), but also some very good songs: Love's eternal flame, Let me let you go, Secret of the way, and above all Astonish you (maybe their best track ever, where the voice of Toby Hitchcock really shines and is, well, astonishing).
