Solid hard rock cd. I cringed when I saw there was a cover version of that old Buffalo Springfield hippie classic "For What It's Worth", but The Lost updated it into an attitude drenched guitar anthem. A couple of the songs on the disc didn't quite measure up to the quality of the rest("Laughing Boy" comes to mind) but overall it's got a lot going for it. I particularly liked "Bijou Dreams". This is mainly straight up rock from a band that doesn't rely on gimmicks. Check it out. |

i think it's pretty amazing that this is still getting commentary. The Lost was one of Luke's first ventures, he had outstanding talent on the album in addition to himself. For those of you who are not familiar with his career, I suggest checking out Darlahood. They toured and were successful for a time as well. Sadly, both bands are defunkt(sp), happily, the man is married and happily for the past 3 years so lets all be thankful for the music he and his extremely talented band imparted upon us. |

Decent effort...mostly songs rather than real outstanding ones...also a decent vocalist that gives the songs some kind of "homemade brand" but also can be monotone at times..."Mindblower","Bijou Dreams","Laughing Boy" & "Cat Got Your Tongue" the best ones...86/100 |

for me this record is a mystery.how a producer ,a record company could put one cent on a band whith a so weak singer.ok musically it s a great piece of hard american rock n roll very well produce but....the singer have absoluty no voice.he ruins totally the record.he could sing in his bathroom, why not,but honestly not on a cd. |

Saw them in Tulsa, OK back in the early 90s at a small club. Great show of straight ahead rock. Wrote to the fan club address back then and received a post card back from the band while they were touring through Tennessee. Those were the days before email!! Still enjoying this album from time to time over the years. Cheers. |
