WOW!incredible aor by these australians;i cant think of a band to compared them to but they are definetely specialists in delivering super smooth aor with a quality all of their own.the material in here is so strong that you wont miss any heavy guitars, what you get instead is some brilliant uptempo numbers mixed with some beautifull ballads.overall one hell of an aor album although imho their second album is even better than this. |

Don't think this one is that good, dear Rob ! It doesn't do much for me. Strange, because we usually have the same taste. Not bad, but . . . |
From: ROB GARCIA | Date: January 28, 2004 at 15:25 |
hey everybody!dont listen to aor freaky...im the one who's right(ja,ja,ja...just kidding!).by the way dan this album was released in 1990(i see that youve got the year of release missing on this one). |

this guy has one of the most pure and natural singing voice your gonna hear anywhere.thing fredi curci alias singer.as rob says.i think the second album is a tad better.but if your into boulevard diving for pearls.not that they sound like these.you should like southern sons. |

This is a great release and well worth tracking down if only for 3 songs that are the best on offer. Heart in Danger is an absolute monster aor song, Always and ever another great tune, but Hold me in your arms is pure bliss, a truely wonderful ballad. It may be an album that may be a bit too soft for some but the quality is what makes it so good. Singer Jack Jones would've been an ideal replacement for Steve Perry (yes he is that good, and better than Augeri). Great stuff. |

Agree with Chris in terms of the best tracks, with the rest being just ok. "Nothing but the Truth" is the better album by far, but if you love that then pick this up too as it's still excellent quality. Agree about the vocals, very reminiscent of fellow Aussie AORster Rick Price. "Always and Ever" could've been on the Nelson debut... |

Almost agree with Chris and TIM (2) here. 'Always and ever' and 'Heart in danger' are two moments of pure melodic rock bliss. Perfection, especially the beautiful 'Always and ever'. And yes, 'Hold me in your arms' is a great ballad. But we seem to have forgotten the melodic gem that is 'Hold on to the memory'. Also a killer track. Amazing 4 tunes, the rest is pretty filler-ish. |

Yeha man. It´s a great album of AOR, but not the best. This boys are good. RATT foucking sshit!!! |

Great album, Irwin Thomas - Virgil Donati on it. These two names tell everything to everyone who knows what is great music, great live performing, also. All the respect to Phil and Geoff, of course. |
