Surrf was right, they do indeed sound like the heavier side of Dokken with hints of XYZ. Personally, Track 3 reminds me of a Warrant tune. Heavens Edge and Cry Wolf fans would probably love this as well. This is great melodic hard rock for fans of the genre. Recommended.

Hi, just wanted to let interested parties know that the band is NOT from Evansvile, but are in fact from Fort Wayne ,Indiana. The lead singer comes from Covington, Kentucky. My info comes firsthand as the singer,Michael Campbell, was my roommate while the songs were being written and recorded for this album. The song "Tears in the Dark" was written about Desert Storm as the war had just broke out then. And accourding to Michael the song "In My Heart" was written for his ex-fiancee. The latest n

in my opinion they sound more like a soft version of Queensryche, Heir Apparent, Apollo Ra and Crimson Glory. With the exception of the track n.2 which is more mainstream-oriented... by the way, they're rather good!

Anybody got a copy of this that they can cd-r or mp3? I'd love to hear it as they've been compared to two fo my favorite bands: Queensryche and Heavens Edge. everlovinblueyedthing@gawab.com if you can

EXCELLENT !!!!

From: Geoff Date: February 24, 2005 at 5:29
The above comparisons are pretty accurate. This is pretty excllent melodic hard rock with a metallic edge. Most the songs are pretty damn great. Very good sic.

Can anybody help me get ahold of Michael Campbell? I would like to use Angel X's music to promote a comic book character I'm doing. Would be willing to pay rolaties for each cd sold. coopfan1@hotmail.com. Great CD by the way!

Lead singer Michael (Campbell) is a friend of mine and we have lost touch. He even thanked me and my friend Tina on this CD for all of the help and support through the time we met and hung out. Children of Reign is a hot CD. But probably my favorite song is In My Heart. I loved when he sang that in his sets. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting these Angel X bandmates but I absolutely loved the previous ones. If Michael sees this please get ahold of me. Thanks, Joyce janes.66@hotmail.com

Michael or anyone that knows how to get ahold of him the e-mail address is: janes.66@hotmail.com It looked funny and too bunched up in the previous comment. Thanks!!!!

For those of you looking for Michael Campbell, he is now playing with the Fort Wayne band, Brother. Here's their Myspcae page: http://www.myspace.com/brotherrockband They are opening up for Twisted Sister this Saturday 7/18/09. If I she him I'll let him knoe that some people on Heavy Harmonies are looking for him.

From: Delbert Date: January 1, 2010 at 20:03
At first glance of the cover, you'd think this was some type of death metal band but these guys actually play some of the finest DOKKEN influenced hard rock around. The guitar player steals the show with his amazing axe work. There's even some XYZ sound here too, but ANGEL X is more original in their songs. I have no idea why this is not on every collector's want list, but it's one you definitely need for your collection if you like the heavier side of Dokken.

From: jstoyz Date: January 23, 2010 at 20:57
All of the above commenters are spot on, this does strongly remind of Dokken, esp. the guitars in track #1.....Overall, smokin' hot EP and one of the best albums listed on this site......Jeff.

This is a great cd! I had the great opportunity of hearing Angel X, here at one of the bars, in Fort Wayne, IN. They used to play here a lot. Fortunately, I can still here Michael play. He is in a band called Brother! They can really rock! They play our area a lot, since the members are mostly from here, or close by. If you ever are in Fort Wayne, or New Haven, IN, check them out! You won't be disappointed!

Really excellent class metal in a typical christian style.I don't have the original disc,I don't see any lyrics and I don't understand english so well but I am pretty sure they are christians. They remind me to the California Metal bands' compilation because they sound like bands such as Emerald,Hero,Barren Cross and Judea.Great disc IMO.
