Basic AOR, but very good. The singer Daniel Zangger Borch sounds wonderful but allways semes to remain in a low range. Would realy like to hear him pitch higher. Good songs, good playing but wont go down in the historybooks. |

NOT QUITE AS GOOD AS THE FIRST 3 RELEASES BUT IT HOLDS IT'S OWN WITH OTHER AOR ROCK BANDS. A 8 OUT OF 10. THE SONG..... NUMBER ONE I VOTE AS THE BEST ON THIS RELEASE. STILL FIRST CLASS PLAYING. |

EVERYONE out there that can find Best & Rare-GET IT! Smoking guitars. The guy is every bit as good as John Norum & has some Yngwie type runs-I could NOT believe it when I heard it! |

Change of singer to Daniel Zangger Borch doesn't lower the quality of the music, just the vocals, as he brings a bit of a bluesy style to the band. This album, known also as III, is an excellent piece of melodic AOR! |

For my liking, this is where Alien faltered. Poor songs, boring album. Hard to believe the first two albums were of the same band name and song writer? I don't know how much Tony Borg wrote on the first two, but judging by this one assumes he had a lot of assistance. Very, very average release from a once great band. |

Terrible production, but a pretty good set of tunes. I actually think this was their 2nd best behind the debut. Opener "Take Me to Heaven" is just brilliant, as is "Standing Alone", but then there are tracks like "Let's Go Dancin'"... If you can get over the mess of a production/mix there are some decent tunes on here. |

Not bad, but because the singer's low voice the songs seems the same. The guitar is under-mixed too. Not even much middle freqs. But at last!!! REAL DRUMS!!! My faves are "a little ain't enough", and "a world full of dreams" |

I just listened to this CD. Must admid "Song of a renegade" is a very interesting one. Listen to this! It has a feeling of a traditional fair. "Strong like a warrior" has a keyboard arrangement strongly reminds me on ABBA. --And what's the mess with "Let's go dancing"..? I recommend this album to all lovers of Scandinavian AOR. I, personally, never liked the debut too much. So this is surely different but that doesn't mean it's worse. Good musicianship. Voice is not my thing either. 7,8/10. |

Their 3rd best album, only behind the debut and the last album 'Eternity'. The production is better and more audible than the previous album 'Shifting Gear' - it doesn't mean is it that good. But the album itself is filled with great melodic songs, great choruses and keyboards. The singer isn't as good as Jim or Pete, but he's ok. 'Take Me to eaven', 'Standing Alone', 'A Little Ain't Enough', 'Strong Like A Warrior', 'Song Of A Renegade', and beautiful ballad 'Just a Man' and the ultra-catchy 'A World Full of Dreams' are my favourites. The japan release of the album there's a live version of their hit 'Only One Woman'. |
