This is one helluva CD folks!Quite possibly the best project Paul Shortino has ever been involved in(his collaboration with JK Northrup being high on the list as well).I enjoy all the songs here, but tracks 1,2,6,& 14(rockers)& 3,13,& 15(slow songs) really stand out."Hell on Heels","Love Line Annie" and "The Lady Was a Tramp" are my personal faves here.Paul's son,Paul Anthony Shortino, does the lead vocals on "Love of My Life",and YES, he does sound a lot like his father.Excellent hard rock disc!

Couldn't agree more with whiplash. I don't remember the year I had this amazing import sent over, but I couldn't be happier. 'All Of My Life', 'Come To The Water', 'Love Me Til It Hurts' are all shining examples of why Paul is one of the PREMIER blues rock vocalists period. 8.5/10.

Paul has one of those full voices that with the added raspiness add another dimension to your average rock song. Anyone who has ever bought a Whitesnake, Great White or Deep Purple album should check this out.

Got it ,love it , now Paul Shortino's {The Cutt},"Sacred Place", is on the way aswell.I've heard the ballad "I Believe" from the album and it is an awesome power ballad !! Do yourself a favour and check it out as it is one of the best.

This album along with Paul Sabu"In Dreams",Steve Fister"Age Of Great Dreams" and Living Loud "Self Titled" i cant get out of the player at the moment. These are four great albums of high quality stuff !!!

PAUL SHORTINO'S THE CUTT...."SACRED PLACE", Another great slab of Bluesy Hard Rock with a couple of ballads thrown in for good measure. Also the strong religious side of Paul is clearly evident in some of his songs but that does not detract one little bit from a superb album that Paul seems to consistantly put out.A star studded line up of musicians help make this the great album it is !!!!!

From: RockMan10 Date: July 9, 2008 at 20:27
I agree with all of the above. This is a rocktastic adventure. Maybe one or two weaker tracks but the fantastic songs will have you air jamming and head butting the walls for weeks. Paul's voice is terrific on this as well. How come there is no Paul Shortino page yet or am I just missing it? 89/100

Great release by Paul Shortino, indeed very enjoyable..."Love Me Til It Hurts","Nothing's Gonna Stop Me"(nice),"Bust","Come To The Water","All Of My Life"(AOR),"This Must Be Love" & "The Lady Was A Tramp" are my faves...the demo song "No No Nikkie" has some "Living On A Prayer" feel in the strophes...just for curiosity...recommended...90/100
