If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Oxido CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Oxido are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Heard some samples from this one and I want it. Lot better than I expected. If you want to sell it I'm at rio1harris@aol.com

This is in my opinion the best Italian (not Swiss!!) melodic hard rock band of all time: great production, superb musicianship, ultra catchy refrains, a really must have. Just listen to track 1,4 and 5: these mean Aor Heaven! The cd is really hard to find even here in Italy, i saw it on Ebay 3 o 4 times and was sold for not less than $350/370...

Actually a Swiss band with an exclusive Italian release (printed there only). This one is awesome. A must for all AOR/HR fans. A great place to start for AOR/HR releases of 1990. Songs like 'Alley Ways', 'Long Way', 'Bad News', and the killer and creative sound of 'Lonely Winter Nights' make this a thoughtful and very appealing release. Right there with Jillson as far as style and quality (although singers vary of course). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, a 10+.

HEY!!3 OF THESE GUYS AFTER THIS RELEASE HAVE FORMED GUNSHY,SO I THINK THEY ARE MUCH SWISS THAN ITALIAN!!UNFORTUNATELY I DIDN T YET HAVE THE PLEASURE TO LISTEN THIS CD(I THINKG WILL BE A MASTERPIECE FOR ME)BUT I RECOMMEND TO ALL GUNSHY/mayday CD,A MASTERPIECE,AWESOME,ONE OF THE BEST CD IN MELODICK HARD ROCK!!!

From: oliver Date: December 30, 2004 at 5:05
imo no cd is worth spending 300$. but without any doubt this is one of the best aor indie releases ive heard til today. great uptempo aor/melodic rock with fine keys and great vocals. like it!

From: Tim Date: October 18, 2005 at 18:50
Track 7 absolutely rules on this one! Way better than Gunshy IMO. Recommended!

From: metalguf Date: April 14, 2006 at 9:16
"Say Goodbye" is a nice little ballad.

From: ashen_light Date: July 10, 2008 at 11:15
An absolute AOR treasure!! My only problem with this release is that it is too short. Oxido later turned into GUNSHY, but GUNSHY is not as nearly as good as this release. Many things make this album special- I think it is raspy vocals combined with a very different-I would say unique-use of keyboards; these guys definitely have their own sound which cannot be confused with any other band. If you are an AOR fan-grab this gem if you find it cheap( below $300 ))

From: z4roxx Date: April 13, 2010 at 13:50
Strange disc.Melodically is great(I remember every refrains after only 2 listenings and this is positive)but songs' structures is really simple and often poor, and there are much choruses IMO.The most great thing was to join melodies of this album with the Gunshy performance,it could be an awesome result!

Another album that cost a heart and a soul..too much money!..honestly the first 2 tracks are dull, nothing really interesting even though the chorus of "Alley Ways" are good..but then like a miracle from track 3 onwards the songs got better and better!..."Junkie" is a very good ballad and one of the best track,"Long Way" is cool, good choruses,"bad News" is also a goodie one,"say Good Bye" is an excellent ballad,"Baby This Night" is awesome!.."Tears Fall Down" is a very nice acoustic number...for me it sounds like a cheap version of Haywire...buy and speak out!.87/100
